And seriously, the foundation thing is not much of a laughing matter, regardless of how it sounded. My d*mn 4-yr. old house is having foundation issues already, and the engineers can't seem to pinpoint the cause of the problem. This promises to be a rough year. :(

Sorry to hear that....My Mom went though it, it wasn't very cheap and the house was never the same. Didn't you get some kind of warranty on the foundation???? We bought new in 1997 and got a 10 year warranty on the foundation. If not...........get a LAWYER ;)

Yeah, we also have the 10-year structural warranty, which will cover whatever the cause of the problem is... so we're good, there. It's just that they have been working on this for almost a year, now, and still are not sure they know what's causing the problem, which is a water bubble under part of the foundation that will not go away. It's causing the foundation to heave on one end, and cracking the brick and sheetrock all to Hades and back. It's not doing a bit of good for my property value, either.

Besides, it's wearing a bit on Rebecca's nerves... I don't like it much when other people make her unhappy. :mad:

There have been reports of some home builders building on old land fills, which would cause major foundation problems. If there would be any way to check into that, it might just be worth your while. I run two construction companies that build/remodel houses. Hope everything goes well.

ya see, BamBam, I actually WAS very sick at the Waco Charity Open. I made no excuse for shooting badly there at the ZT10. Also, I shot well in Wimberley (7th) and Arlington was just one simple mistake to put me just barely out of cash. So, I'm not sure what you're referring to, but I made no excuses. I shot fairly well last night, so whatever I was doing at Waco was left there on the Beast with my pride. Tonight I'm out for blood. If I don't get it, Deidre will. She's already proven she can make Frank bleed :D

Plus, "Josephine" is pretty weak, and "Audelia" doesn't even make much sense. I think Frank was just reading street signs. I just got off the phone with with the wife.. Her softball game is at Autobon, so If we run late she said she can just bring him up there. I have one, #13 in the winter time we play the big tree on the left is mando, you have to go through the hole, kinda hard to do in the summer.

That is a toughy going that way, but I have seen some local casual players nail that with a roller through there....could prove fun

Frank, Lets tell everybody how the round ended... after leading almost the whole round..we let Bitner/Watts catch us and on 17 (while it was getting dark to the point where you could not even tell where your drive went)Frankiepoo/Dukie tied us also.. 3 way tie
HOLE 18-- OK now it is dark..no seeing disc!! might as well have been throwing with our eyes closed WHICH is what Frankie did!! THE ONLY HOLE HE PARKS WAS PITCH BLACK 18... FLUKE OR SKILL....HMMMMMM.. Congrats to Frank/Duke...The lights went off just in time for you guys to sneak ahead of us..
BAM BAM-- Frank got 14.. We didn't really do too much as far as long drive contest..We had a group of 8 and 2 ladies following so we just threw our drives and went on.. I threw a not so bad drive, It turned over just a little too much and was about 20ft short of Frankiesbecause it ran into the WOODS.. What can you do..His drives are just too massive for me to compete with.. I did open up a pretty ok drive on HOLE 12 that went just a little farther than franks.. I prbably outdrove him by about 400ft but who's counting:DI had a gr8 time.. Lot of fun playing with everybody!! Good thing Duke was around to carry Frank into the last hole... :D

Had to address this.. This was, let me just disgusting!! Frank in his KICK YOU WHILE YOUR DOWN mentality pushed this poor guy to the point where frank was almost killed and left somewhere in the back 9 Autobon woods!! We all have those rounds where your drives are not where you want them and you just can't seem to throw the damm thing where you want to.. Besides having to be Humble today since D&D finally took us out 2/1...I have to remember some of those great shots or the not so great ones. Hole #1 neither Frank or Gary even got it halfway to the hole...it's only about 150ft. #2 Paul Thumbered over the top and just plain crushed it...#5 Gary Aces and the goal doesn't even have a ring holding the chains in place...#8..Paul again...He crushes his drive...somehow it goes through every treee on the course and just parks it..#5 and #11 took my disc and Gary Dukes...#13 I parked, but Frank birdied with us...Those last 3 holes were pretty much pitch black, but it didn't matter..

I understand that we all have busy schedules and most don't want to drive 30-45 minutes to play.

Just thinking that if there were some WEST SIDE courses thrown into the mix, there would be some other folks that could play sometimes too.

I vote to not go to The Colony unless we do something interesting like playing from basket to basket or playing the course backwards. Something like that would make it more fun. I would be up for the other courses. I'll admit that I'm kind of in the same boat as BamBam other than the fact that I don't work until 6:00. One of the few perks of being a teacher. :( I guess that should be perk (singular). :D

the only thing I have to say is that there's a difference between good fun, talking smack and just plain old being a ****. Yeah, I got ****** b/c Frank couldn't take a hint and ease up a bit. For the record, the only time I gave you ANY [*****] was when you were already laughing it off yourself. If you can't learn to let off when enough is enough, then you've got alot to learn.

No, Adam, I wasn't going to fight anyone. I'm not like that, I just had enough and after telling him 3 or 4 times to ease up a bit, he wouldn't quit. It's not like I can't handle the smack, hell I started this whole thing. Some people just can't tell the difference between what's fun and what's wrong. The whole point is to rile each other up and get some juices flowing. It's not supposed to be about, as PT said it, kicking somebody when they're down. Whether PT was serious or not, I am totally serious.

We putted where we needed to. Like Lance is going in the Tour, slow and steady until we need to kick it in for the win. Start with 2 bad holes and then hold pars until everyone feels secure, then birdie out.
