You beat us today....Dieder stayed in bed all the way until 8pm and the other 3 of us debated what to do and finally just went to the BON around 4pm...everyone had other things they were doing early on, so it just didn't happen.

Glad to hear the course played like it looks...was it really only muddy on the holes close to where we parked? how was it out there?

I did hit #9 at the BON again today and it wouldn't stay in...that is 2 times now :mad:

More wet than muddy, on holes 5, 6, 7, & 9.

Two days before I was to sign up for the event I was asked to Marshal the event since it moved to A-Tier. Since I hadn't already paid my fee, I chose to Marshal this instead. Hey guys! Computer has been down a couple of days! Nothing is wrong with Steve, it's a friend of his, Jason Thomas. He lives somewhere in the D/FW area but plays a lot in Tyler/Athens. Jason was in a serious car accident and was paralized from the neck down. I got a report just today that he's starting to get some feeling in his toes but will have to have a lot of rehab. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery and will be back out playing soon.

This is Don's first Open Master tournament. He's ready to bring home some cash. He's so excited that he has been playing 36 holes everyday this week, a couple times at Cedar Hill. Good luck to the OMB's.

Hmm... I never got a cart, either. They don't look as cool as my Revolution bag! :D:cool:

Then you need to get a cart that will hold your revolution bag. And I think Jerry Powers cart looks cooler than your bag.

The courses are about as cart freindly as you'll find. The pathways between the holes were cut to make sure a gator could make it around the course. I think there's one ditch to cross on the back, but it's not bad.

but they sure are lighter :DI have bags to but there is nothing like pulling your disc's all over the course.

I've looked at carts in the past, but I just can't find one that is setup the way I want one to be. I'll probably end up making my own from an old golf bag caddy I have.

I'm not sure I've seen Jerry Power's cart, but it just can't be as cool as my bag... it CAN'T! :mad:

Most likely not, but I never decide on a tourney (except TX 10's) until that last moment...just not into tourney mode yet this year...OKC season never started till later in the year and my game is showing the lack of daily play in the evenings..Come on APRIL....

The Cedar Hill course crew did an awesome job getting these courses in. Holes 2 and 9 on Coyote weren't my favorites, but they do add something to that course. I thought if I got a 3 on #9 it would be great. Complained the whole time I played that hole. Then I heard Laura got a 2 on it, and I can't really complain now. THANKS LAURA! :eek:

That's the one. Either throw anhyzer extremely understable disc at a big tree almost as far as you can see and hope it bends right at that tree, and not hit it, then you should end up at the old path looking at the basket. Throw a perfect putt from there and you've got an easy bird. Matt Wienberg played with us Sunday morning and flicked his drive to the almost exact spot mine had landed the day before. His putt wasn't quite perfect, so I'm still the only one :D. Of course with the big headwind Sunday morning, I did not get to repeat my bird and got a six. So my average on the hole is probably the same as everyone else. It was my only bird of the weekend. I guess I just like being different. Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Seriously, I needed to get away from there before I started shouting out dirty words and pissin' everyone off. I should have been even or better on that third round, but I missed at least half a dozen birdie putts, most from inside 20', and most of them I didn't even touch metal on.

That's OK, though... I went home and spent the rest of the day with Rebecca, and we had a great afternoon... so YAY for me! :D

Just not ready to play a whole weekend when I have other things going on also. JOB is going downhill fast and I am going to OKC this weekend, so needed to save up a little.
