Jolly Green Giant, thats great Jason. Juli cashed in MA2 with 5th place out of 11, so JGG wasnt the only one that got beat by her. Her putter was on Fire the second round. It was cool to see Red step up right after the 1st guy hit it and put it in for the Roc. It was a perfect day for golf, thats probably why I played so bad :D.

You never know. The last two weeks I went out there, and there was only one other person there. Last week, Tom Cat forgot his discs! I don't think I'll be there this time. I promised the wife we'd do lunch and a movie. It's probably good for me to rest my "ace arm". :D If they have the tag challenge, it will start around 3:00.

on a side note about this weekend's tournament, even though I played like fertilizer for dukie's flowers, I did get to see a couple of promising juniors battle it out (with a 3-card backup on 4 or 5 holes per round... I got to see them throw several times). That Dalton kid has some real potential. Brandon edged him out by 1 stroke and won it... not to knock Brandon in the least, he's gonna be real good some day... but Dalton is half his size and throwing lefty on a decidedly righty course. Besides, how many times will you see 2 or more juniors in a 1-day event? How many of those times will it come down to 1 stroke? Way to go guys.

I really do wish I had known about this series earlier this year. Good TD. VERY generous payout, CTP, ace race prizes. Good people. Good times. I also wish they had their own thread so I could post all this on there :)

I think it was the grooves that were cut into the teepad that got me :mad:. The only thing I can figure out is that the edge of my shoe went into one of them and that kind off threw all of my weight forward. I've heard several complaints about how slick the pad is, but have yet to come up with a solution.................suggestions?????

BTW....I know I have chicken legs..............but with an ankle the diameter of the neck of a coke bottle it had to swell quite a bit to get up to the size of a peanut butter jar :D:D

We found a great restaraunt there in town last time that was catering to the disc golfers. They kept us well fed.

Hotel Schmotel...OMB...I had a nice bed, a shower, a grill, a goal, and it was all outside and free.

The ace pot is at $32 right now... imagine how "big" it would have gotten if we had kept adding to it. don't worry about it...in the time we spent going back and forth I just procured a 2005 CE ROC and only had to trade a Collage ORC.

I like Frank's idea of keeping it going on the weekends through the winter months. I don't know how well that will work for everyone else, but I do know it'll work better for me.

We decided to keep increasing the ace pot instead. Those pads at GB are great Brian. Not too sure about hole #10 as a choice, but #5, #16 and #18 are AMAZING improvements.

You should come out and join us sometime if you ever get a free chance. The OMB's need some more #'s.

Actually Frank, he took that next delivery in good time, then the next delivery was 2 to the same street, the one I told him to take first called me 35 min after he left asking where his pizza was. The kicker, the street is Cordoba, Cordoba is 2 street down Jackson/Scott Mill from the store, no lights, only two blocks. It seems he read 2410B as 24108 and just kept driving up and down the street. (the house was a duplex) He did not call either the customer or the store, and drivers are suppose to call as soon as they realize they are having problems.

He will be replaced tonight no problem. There are plenty of people looking for jobs.
