OK...here's the story! You may not remember reading this but last week my sister had a miscarriage. So on Friday I made a trip down to Austin to see her. At some point I pulled something in my back so the drive home Saturday night was pure murder. I was stressed from dealing with her and hurting my back. I called David on the way home and told him that I was hurt. OK..when I got home he was having a little get together with a few friends in the POOL room. I was very upset about it. I tried to deal with it but all I wanted to do was go to bed. I asked David to send them home. Basically he told me NO. So I got a little grouchy. I tried to explain to him that I need some peace and quiet to deal with loosing my neice/nephew, relaxing after having to be strong for Angie, and resting my back to try to get ready for work and Waco. I asked him to again ask them to leave. David threw a fit, saying stuff like "This is my house, if I want to have friends over I will. Who do you think you are anyway? " That ****** me off big time and a fight started. Names were called so I left and drove around for about an hour. Apparantly his friends were trying to get him to calm down, but because he was drinking he kept getting angry, and he broke a window and hit a wall. When I came home to get some clothes I found out that he was at the hospital. I guess you can figure out the rest.

Alcohol can make any decent person into a monster and that is what happened. Not sure what I'm going to do. I thinking that no hard alcohol will be allowed in there any more. David is fine when he's just drinking beer but add any hard stuff he becomes a jerk.

When I got the kids situated and was able to think about it I was so mad that I went down to the pool room and shattered a few bottles on the floor and shredded his favorite flag.

We're still working on what we're going to do about it. I can tell you that I'm going to be ****** at him for awhile. And he'll have a constant reminder of his stupidity for a long time to come. The cast should come off right before the Tyler Tx10 so he won't even get to do that.

So, if any of you do stay with us that weekend we'll have to try to do it without any hard liquor. Sorry.

man that tourney was rough for me and Deidre both. We ended up leaving right after round 2 b/c i was feeling so crappy. Being cold and wet all day does that to me sometimes :).

I shot a not-so-horrible-considering-the-rain 70 on the beast and was sitting well within cash money... I even managed to take par on holes 3 and 9, which I *rarely* do. then somehow I was +12 after my first 7 holes on Olde Cameron. And I lost my favorite putter. starting on 14, I went 4-c5-c6-c5-4-4-5... that last 5 was on hole 2 when my layup putt landed on a root 3' from the basket then rolled all the way down the hill... I have never DNF'd a tourney but I was really close. Oh well, cashing at Waco just isn't in the cards for me I guess :)

So who is going to OKC in 2 weeks? Who is going to Tyler in 3? I can't do both, so I've got to make a decision tomorrow. My oncall rotation was supposed to come up during the OKC event, and I switched with someone to move it back a week. I just realized that puts Tyler in the un-doable category. yeah, that's the JDGF tourney. The Paske's are doing a mixed doubles thing on the Sunday following. I really do want to play both this one and the Tyler event, but I've got to be on-call one of those days. Maybe I can switch to a week earlier instead.... I'll check it out. The only problem with the OKC tourney is that Deidre doesn't have Saturday off, but she really wants to play in the mixed dubs tourney the following day. So, I'd need to get a ride to OKC Friday night or Saturday morning, then she would drive up Saturday night. I really would like to play Dolese again... Sweet course even if it is in Oklahoma :D

Can't make it, I was so embarassed by losing to Frank last weekend, I may never play disc golf again. It's too soon, the pain is still too fresh.

Cedar Hill for me on Saturday. 9am is fine 10 am is great..I am up for either. Sorry Ryan but I have only played each course twice and want some more. It is 31 miles from my pad, but well worth it. Get that soon to be daddy to drive!

That is alot of placing for you OMB's last year - how tough is it to place in a division of 10 or less every time and you are counting about 10 guys as std'ers :p

Josh - I talked to Boaen last night about cards and IF we do play I will want to start around 7 or 8 at the latest. Noway we will all show up at 9am or 10am at CH if we play later. Dieder quit out on us Saturday, but it was still a great time.

I feel very bad about being part of the scoring error in the first round, though the scores were double checked by everyone there except the person that was mis-added. His scores were double checked by others as well.

Because of that, I purposefully stayed away from counting anyone's scores after the second round except my own. Please stand up and take responsibility for mis-adding your own score without trying to imply that someone else was responsible for your mistake.
