Man this keeps getting better and better. Just talked to Jay, and he said he could help out around 1ish or so. He said he has access to a 2 man auger and some other device that diggs holes like a champ. He is going to see if he can get them for tomarrow. He also has some fence work to do on his so he said he would help me for help on his fence :DWith me, Frank, Adam , and Jay we should be able to get a lot done. Sweeeeeeet :DAnybody else out there want some?? :D

I think we could probably use one or two nail guns. All Wood. I think adam said he had one. The more the better!! :D

I have a Dewalt Drill, not nail gun, but you really probably should drill, instead of nailing. It will hold up much longer.

and much faster

Staples last as long as screws and go in a lot quicker and with only one hand.

p.t. i thought you had pre made sections.... if so all you need is 16 penny nails and some hammers

I do have pre-made 8ft sections. The posts were my main concern. The panels will go up fairly easy. A nailgun i would think would be the fastest but then again this is my first fence to put up so I am up for suggestions ;)

I have a dewalt skill saw, dewalt 24v battery drill, a whole box of nails, which we used for our fence that we just put up! I will email you pics of the fence....we have so many tools for that kind of stuff, you name it we have it....if you need any help lemme know asap!!

Thx Andrew. I am not sure we will need all that considering that I have sectioned panels. That was a nice fence you have. Mine will not require all of the other tools. I do appreciate it though.

i just got back from audubon and it hasn't all been mowed but it didn't look to bad. hole 1 was mowed but none of the holes along the creek were and i couldn't see the other side of the bridge but there were guys out playing. sorry if i didn't help much

It was just barely sprinkling when I talked to you sat morn at my house, and it stopped right agter that. Never rained again. All concrete was rain-free :cool:Much thanks to Frank and Jay (the OMB's) /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif for helping out. There is still some more to be done but it wasn't too bad Manuel labor :DWe marked a string just off the ground so we could get the posts in line and exactly 8 ft apart. Unfortunatly Frank tripped over every string we put down!! :oSo we would re-string...Frank would trip and move the string.. This was funny every time. :p He also managed to take a chunk of skin and hair off his leg while mixing some concrete. Havent figured that one out yet. Pretty good wound though. Thx for the laughs :D:DAGAIN.. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP!! Those OMB's gave me shittt the whole time they were there Sat, and Sun..But it was worth it! Young punk this young punk that.. :D

You got me...one plain dissapeared on #17...one gone on #3 and one on #8..all went right on the edge of the water and vanished....water was still pretty murky, but we even got in and couldn't find them...oh well...

They worked. :D..we had a -10 and a -9 in doubles...couldn't leave an ORC, Valk and Beast in there without looking atleast..Had a guy from Athens shoot the round with us. He couldn't throw backhand with his right, but shot it with his left and the rest of the game forehand righty :confused:

I think I played with that guy in Athens. What was his name? -9 and -10 is pretty decent at Porter, those might be cashing scores at the Thurs. night Porter mini. My personal best out there is still -5. kinda weak, but I don't play out there very much.

how likely is it that you hit a ace at Z when all the holes are long? We went out there one time when the ace pot was up high and they said short tees and baskets and then we get there and every thing is long..

first round is from long second round is from short. this is already a done deal. i was leaning towards mckinney myself until the ace pot was posted :confused:

when we went out and played there was only one round,, sorry I will have to miss that,, McKinney is closer and well PT said it all and it is for a good cause.

Sunday will be the "easy" Z layout. All pins will be short and they'll be playing from the short pads :D:D So that gives you chance at holes 1-6-8-9-11-13-14-15-16-17 and 18........even if you're a weinie arm :p. Although you do have to have it high enough off the ground :o:eek: ;)

Depending on where you live in McKinney, you could take 380 to 423, south on 423 all the way through The Colony to 121.... I'm just not sure that would be any quicker, though. It's more open, but it's futher out of the way... kind of a wash, really.

I am heading to KS on Sat and playing the Hutchinson course...has anyone shot it before?...how about Wichita?

Wichita had a couple of courses last time I was there. A longer windier course by the river, and a nice short executive course down town. If you go to the shorter course get there early in the morning. It was full of rabits when I went there while the dew was still on the ground.

Oh yeah, both OMB teams shot -10 the best the YGBs could do was -8.

We had just four teams last night. Weather was awesome for golf; too bad more of you couldn't make it out. PT and I both have shot some good golf during the STDs, just not when we are partners. :( Actually, we had a string there where PT had some great drives and I had some good putts. We like to play as a team! :eek: It doesn't help though when both of us park hole 7. Too bad one of us didn't save the park for hole 8. It's all good since we hit the putt for the birdie. Did Double D birdie hole 8? :o I know, you still had more birdies than us, but we have to take the small victories. Watch out . . . we are gaining some wisdom. Or is that just me getting closer to OMB age. :o:D:(

Yeah, it was a fun day in McKinney today. Pebbles (Rebecca) finally got out and played her first tourney today, and she had a blast... she got two pieces of plastic with her winnings, and I got her a couple more out of mine. I tell ya what, as soon as she learns to putt and gets some consistency in her upshots, she's gonna be TOUGH! I'm so proud of her!! :D

Ray, Gary, and JP... it was good to shoot with you guys today... I enjoyed it. Too bad Frank was too chicken to show up :D:p Then I'd have tag #13 and he'd have #36 Frank, we may get out and play another round, probably sometime Monday... mixed dubs would be fun... I'll let you know sometime tomorrow.
