Stew is planning to do a brief working at the course on Saturday. What he has planned is to pop up 2 frames from tees that are in and then move them to hole 10 tees. After that he wants to dig out the tee area for hole 10 white and blue. What he is asking is for some help from the golfers. This shoudl not be a long work period and will not be that hard. If you can make it please email or call him so he knows who he can count on. His email is wsgoodson@co.pitt.nc.us , his work number is 252 902 1058 and his home number is 252 321 5685. If you can help him Saturday or have questions please call him soon.

Some tournament news is that the March Mando Madness is scheduled for Saturday March 19. Same entry fees as usual and tee times, just the difference is every hole will have at least one mando. Play smart, play safe or play silly..just come play.

PDGA tournament news: We are a go!! The date is been moved to October 22-23 to prevent any conflicts with other tournaments. This date is going to be added to the regional schedule and I will start the paperwork with the PDGA. This event will also be a part of the NC Disc Golf Champions Series!!! SO..now we need a name. Start thinking of names and themes that can go with the name. Once we have some suggestions we will decide on one and that will be the name of the tournament. The latest we can make this decision would be at the March Monthly. Anyone who has a suggestion contact me or an officer and have it passed on. I will then send this suggestion out along with any others we get so they can all be thought about. If we do not do this as a club, you will leave this decision up to a few of us.

best dates possible scotty... the 22nd is the best day of the year. easygreens open has a nice ring.

for those interested, which may not be many, the final word on the Mountain DiscGolf tourney in asheville is that it we be held on april 30-may 1, the same weekend as the pro crosstown, which sucks. it will be an am only sanctioned c-tier.
anyone not going to raleigh should make the trip. eventhough SOME people think that the course isn't that good, with which i disagree, the tournament is first rate. with the nicest people, free breakfast and lunch both days, live music, and last year they had a 500$ ace pool. also, they will be doing urban skins again on both days.
give it a thought.

CPWO is the Coastal Plains Winter Open..the Knapp Brand even that is Feb 20-21 in Jacksonville/Richlands..GVDG should flooed the field and represent well..good luck to all who go..
