P.S. Clark's right... if you need anger mgmt. class, come see me....Mark Southard will tell you...or I can teach you how kick your bag futher than you can throw, while making each disc go in its own direction, and the water bottle in the basket! :cool:Now THAT takes skill.

it is the third weekend in March on the saturday (same weekend as the Team Challenge CuTT)

There will be drop zones

scottfaison
Feb 24 2005, 12:54 PM
The March Mando Madness Monthly (M4) will be Saturday March 19..tee time will be 10AM..players meeting 9:30AM...entry fees are $10 for open and $5 for all amateura..all holes will have at least one mando...all mandos will be marked and there will be handouts given to everyone when they sign up..we will have dropzones so there will be no unwinding..that would just take way too long and not really be fun after you miss about 3 mandos...the drop zones will also be marked...we are playing 2 rounds, one from each set of tees...some of the mandos will change between rounds so pay attention to the plaers meeting and information sheet..just keep in mind that this an event with a unusual theme geared toward fun and who knows..maybe you might learn a new shot or two :D

Just to pass on some good news to everyone, we have received money from two new sponsors. Cox Cable is signed on as a quarter hole sponsor for $125. This sponsorship is due to Biggs and his hard work at getting people at Cox to sign on. So support them and watch cable TV. The other sponsor is Michelangelo's Pizza and they have become a half hole sponsor at $250. This sponsorship is due largely to our down east connection with Scott Knapp, so thank him next time you see him and please visit this sponsor and have some pizza, subs or a cold beverage and tell them thanks. That is all for now and when more news comes about I will let you know as soon as I can. Keep up the good work folks and I will see you in March.

Cedars is looking kinda [*****] after those pin changes. One was alright, needed to be tougher. Two was a little out there. I pinned the old position and had a thirty footer for duece. 6 is pretty bad, the fairway is so tight. I dueced it with ease(ease being a 50' footer in off a branch. And #16 is effing ridiculous. Who thinks of changing a signature hole a week before the biggest tourney at a course. I ran the basket, was 50' OB, and had a drop in for circle three. RIDICULOUS. I hope they'll be changing it back.

Sounds good to me. I am only not sure about Wilmington. Although I would only worry about them conflicting with me, because they are a little futher from you guys, and I doubt they would pull from you. I already talked to CuTTaz, and he said any day should be cool with the Port City boyz.

OK it is official..we have made some changes to the course...holes 8-13 are varying now..hole 8&9 are combined to make hole 8..old hole 10 is 9..hole 10 will be in the field to the right of old 10..hole 11 is now old hole 12 reveresed with added distance..hole 12 now plays toward where the back tee area for old 13 was..hole 13 now plays from the temp tee we used once..I will draw a map with the changes so it will be easier to see..some work will have to be done but not as much as when we started..we did not do this change just for the fun but because of some issues with right aways and the pier..old hole 8 tees had to be moved and the pier tee on 9 had to come down..we decided it would be best to do a reconfigure to make the course better for everyone..any questions you have please feel free to ask..
