So this old guy Mike and I shot a 17 under playing doubles yesterday. We started on 4 with a big group and had the perfect round going until hole 2 when my roc went OB and he came up short. I made 2 50 foot jump putts in a row. Ask Mills or Bert. That round was sick. Can't wait for doubles to start. I need more D plastic. Going to Raleighwood this weekend. Thinking about Buckhorn. I really want to get up north of town and play Louisburg again, or maybe see Higher ground or Tar River or Mansfields place. No school on Monday due to MLK. If any one is interested, holla.

WORKDAY...WORKDAY..Sunday January 16 2005....meet at Pygmy's house by 12:30..if you can't get to his place by then go to the course..this is a BIG workday in the sense that the tee pads are going to be worked on..smoothing the areas and putting the frames down on 16 of the tees..after this Parks will be setting it up so the concrete can be poured...the front end loader was out at the course today digging up the areas which was a big help since that is some of the hardest work in putting in the tees...one step closer..keep up the hard work...

Other good news..we have gained yet another sponsor...Aldridge and Southerland Realtors have signed on for a full hole sponsorship and we have received it..thanks to Stew for pursuing and landing this sponsor...keep looking for sponsors and keeping the officers updated on the progress...I have been making some calls to potential sponsors also and I am currently waiting for responses...good luck to everyone

Hostage update...the #1 tag had a nice day in the Everglades and got to go all the way down to the town of Flamingo..look on a map and see how far in the middle of nowhere this place is....it got to see Anhingas, Herons, Ibis, Turtles and of course many Alligators...some pictures were taken and hopefully will be up soon..also the tag has been sighted playing golf at one of the Ft Lauderdale courses...hopefully it will get some more sun so it will get a BBeautiful tan and cover that nasty TT rash it has on it.. :cool:

The TT is not a rash it is a cure to all Problems, no maTTer what they may be.

Thanks to Biggs, AJ and Fred for their contribution on the hole they helped on...the first group of pads are framed and Stew is calling Parks tommorow to set up a date for concrete drop...I will be emailing and posting and this time calling to let you guys know when the date is..this way everyone should know...thanks to the hard work of a few, you guys rock..and to the others who chose to ignore these 2 workdays ( and I am not talking to those who had obligations or prior commitments they had to fufill but rather those who chose to play at the course instead of work on the course) I feel sadness and contempt for your effort because I know you folks are better than that...

Heard about an assualt and battery at the meadow by one Richard Biggs on Stew...hopefully his nose doesnt swell up too bad..and you know we still love ya Biggs :)

Someone, I suspect Harold, went to the trouble to put on that tourney and get the course together, and you come on and trash it after winning.

That reminds me of a good one from ECU. Guy throws his second shot on 11, yanking it way right. "FOOOORRRREEEE!!!" Guy on 15 turns to see where the disc is headed and catches it right in the teeth. Blood. Everywhere. Teeth. Luckily, still in tact in the mouth.

There has to be a number of people that leave that course bleeding each year. I was hit least twice (both times I was on a tee pad) in my tenure.

Never been hit. Knock on wood. I was very close to kicking someones ***** that hit my g/f at the time on hole 3 at ECU. I yelled at him, told him what "fore" means and threw the disc over in hole 1's fairway. I was so ******. Partly because of it hitting her but mainly because there was no warning. The funny thing is, the guy played from where it landed when I threw it. :D
