6 of us went down to florida to play the cross cannyon, all six placed in the top ten in our div! EOG, J clark, Monica,Gary G, J Land and Jeff Y all cashed :cool:Plus all the CTPS and the doubles cash, we basicaly took over brooksville.

Yes..go play tourneys, travel and represent..and don't be like the guy I had to play with today..all I can say is WOW..I have never thought about leaving a doubles round in the middle of it out of being so upset..if it had been my first time playing disc golf I would have thrown my disc in the lake and never played again..needled to say I will not be playing doubles at that course again or fear of being within hearing range of him and his loud, vulgar, obscene and irritating manners....no idea of courtesy...I know it was doubles but wow...I was wishing I was back at The Meadow..

scotty: you are probbly better off not playing the tourny. joe g is so retarted that if you cash, or in shwebbs case (when he wins) beacuse he wouldnt let nc down like that, you will owe money. the cross canyon was the first tourny i played that it paid better to lose :mad:let me list some of his antics:

1. he payed the advanced women max weight overstable drivers!
2. the winners got a tool set and boom box
3. second got a pul behinde golf cart for discs ( thanks to gary g and his wierd style he fell in love with stupid thing and bought it off of me.

Just the other day I found myself riding a bus, destination: unknown. In my hands to my surprise I found a book of clich�s. Suddenly the bus pulled to a stop that was not marked on the route. I expected the bus driver to be picking up another homeless drunk to drive around all night. But much to my surprise an older man with the first red �fro I have ever seen jumped onto the bus with uncharacteristic energy only matched by his green and orange suit. He had flaming red hair combed into a big �fro that left me with the impression he was someone I knows cousin. In his hand was a clipboard and at this point I got bored and started reading a rather good clich� from my new found book.
Several minutes passed and I looked up again to find the eccentrically dressed man walking up and down the aisle talking to people and marking on his clipboard.
Finally he approached me and forcefully asked my name.
Angrily I responded, �Friar Tuck, ******.� The stutter was apparent but he seemed not to notice. Scrolling over the clipboard he took a momentary pause and looked at me with a new found smile upon his face.
I noticed the gap and I noticed the yellow but something deep inside said this was no time for an Austin Powers routine. Suddenly the bus jumped and my book of clich�s fell to the floor.
�You Sir are just the man we�ve been looking for.� A sentence he completed in two long exhales of CO2 that could clearly have been completed in one. Clearly this man had a mind for drama and didn�t realize he needed professional training.
In an instant he reached into his pants and removed a large rubber stamp that quickly removed all the romance from the scene. So that�s how desk clerks get all the chicks I quietly thought to myself.
The strange man then proceeded to put a stamp of arcane figures on my hand. It was a good thing the man was quick because at that instant a man threw him out the window muttering something about no ticket and the lady behind me handed back my book of clich�s that had slide on the floor.
I sat on the bus for hours afterwards studying the strange stamp as the bus repeatedly went past my stop. I couldn�t move, the peculiarity of today�s events had completely drained my energy.
The stamp was not at all special, rather conforming and business like. Simply four letters and a period. TZJr.
I instantly recognized the organization the stamp boringly represented, I had sent off to become a member months ago along with four cereal box ends and a signed check from my parents. I sat on the bus as a new mood set upon me that in no way reflected today�s events: dissatisfaction. Other clubs send out decoder rings to new members I told myself, surely the club gives a good show with initiation but stamps always fade.
