After further review, the PDGA Board of Directors approved an update to the PDGA Tobacco Policy, the text of which is displayed below. The policy is effective immediately and supersedes all previously published tobacco policies. The updated policy is similar to the Tobacco Policy implemented in 2012 for PDGA Majors, but now extends to PDGA National Tour events as well any concurrent sanctioned events tied to those events. Another key change to the policy is it now applies to Event Staff, in addition to players and their caddies listed in the previous policy.

The PDGA is constantly looking for ways to grow the sport of disc golf, a task that comes in many shapes and sizes and one we cannot do alone. We are always on the lookout for others that share our passion and vision and who are creating best-of-breed solutions. Today, we are thrilled to announce a new partnership with UDisc who will provide live scoring and statistics for the 2018 PDGA National Tour Elite Series as well as the 2018 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships.

The schedule for the 2018 PDGA Majors, National Tour, Disc Golf Pro Tour, and PDGA A-Tiers is now available along with the 2018 PDGA Tour Standards that will go into effect on January 1, 2018. PDGA State Coordinators and Provincial Coordinators may now start accepting requests for approval of dates for 2018 B-Tier and C-Tier events as well.

The 2018 Top Tier Tour Schedule has been posted.  The schedule includes 11 PDGA Major events, 6 National Tour Elite Series events, 10 Disc Golf Pro Tour events, and 3 Disc Golf World Tour events, along with several other notable events for reference.

We are now accepting applications for 2018 A-Tiers.  The last day to submit an A-Tier request is Friday, October 13th, 2017.

Airport Info

Anyone coming to the 2018 Ed Headrick Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic presented by REC TEC Grills by air will be best off flying into Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) in Augusta, Georgia; located 30 miles from the International Disc Golf Center (IDGC) in Appling, Georgia. However, AGS is a very small airport and flights are not always the easiest to find. If you cannot find a suitable flight into AGS, the next-closest airport is Columbia Metropolitan Airport located in Columbia, South Carolina. See the list below for more information.
