Ladies Night was a blast last night!!! Five woman played last night in beautiful weather. Crista Bailey, Laura Lou Karshis, Jennie Cashdollar, Jaimee Lynn Curtis and myself practiced and had fun.
Laura takes FIRST place and wins a breast cancer awareness towel. GOOD JOB LAURA!

Hope to see more ladies out there next week. We are losing daylight every day and I am not sure what the plans will be when the time changes so come out while you still can.

20 players compete in week 26 of 30 of the LODGA Wednesday Night pro/am doubles league at Universal City. Week 27 will be back in Live Oak October 6, 5:45 cut off to sign up! Tracy Olson and Jacob Sisson shoot 12 under par for 16 holes. The course was shortened due to darkness.

Ruben Campos gets his 6th career ace on hole #11 with a skip shot, and qualifies for a share of the league ace pot. He joins, Eddie Efsic, Brian Schmidt and John Ince in the LODGA League Ace Club!

Really wanted to go to Corpus this weekend. Made the Coastal clash and had a lot of fun, however I have done 17 tourneys plus Worlds this year and I am signed up for state and the finals in Lewisville. hey i have a question. i just got my pdga stuff and on my card it says that my rating date is 7/15/2004. does that mean that every event that i have played since that date is being taken into account when they figure my rating?

God has blessed us with another beautiful day today. Ladies Night will take place tonight and we will do some practice drills and then some fun holes of disc golf.

LOLO needs to get together and have a meeting to discuss the use of the funds raised from the Ace Race. We also need to sign the thank you cards and the discs for the sponsors.

LIVE OAK WEEKEND! (OCTOBER 30TH AND 31ST)

Remember the big Live Oak weekend (just outside of San Antonio), is the weekend after states. The ace pot was not hit at Brooks, so there will be an estimated $750 ace pot available on a great course with MANY ace holes. Attendance should be high as there is a ton of local support and Austin players will make the short trip down as well. The next day we will hold a Big Money Doubles Series as well. This is the weekend after Texas States, so save your pennies so you can make the trip! The DiscGolfStore.com GCCS event is Saturday the October 30th with BMDS being October 31st.

There is also a La Quinta and a Holiday Inn Express very close. Both off of I 35

It's not the "lap of luxury" but when I stayed there it had a clean bed and shower and cable TV. What more could you want? :D

We had a great night of men's casual doubles last night. We played the last three holes in the dark, which I know Bill and Jody would have felt right at home since they play like they are in the dark all the time anyway. :DBill, you are not afraid of the competition if Dave goes are you? :o:)
