Well, I have to say.... Yes it's worth checking out at this point, but make sure you keep a full day open for 18 holes. and bring everthing you will need like water, scorecard, and a map of the place . I liked the course and the clubhouse looks sweet. It is a little rough at this time.

Not to beat an old horse to death, But Frost and Travis posted about this allready. We called the guy, told him we were coming out, he said come on out I will show you around, and walk the course with you, we were like cool sounds
good!! :D. Well then we get out there, we did get to meet the guy, Can't rember his name, he had us wait, then said to come in the house to fill out some paper work, we went inside and asked, " is this the clubhouse? ". And this lady said NO people Live here and Grandmam doesn't how much more she can take of this. So after that warm welcome, we all went back outside and waited for the guy with the paper work.

He came back out and gave us all a release to sign, and some info on the membership. we all signed the release and he said he would get a guid for us. So we waited some more and his dad came out and said lets go. so we followed him down the hill, we went threw the gate and he said , " Ok, Go down to the red bard and hole one around there". they were going to play the other course. So the Six of us were like do you have any scorecards, maps ?????. a guy who just got there today also, gave us an extra card he had, none was offered to us at all, or a map :mad:.

Anyway to make this book a little shorter, Nice place, lack of planing on their part and Just rude people, I guess they were tired from the Grand Opening parts I don't know.

Danielle was one of TWO women to step up and play intermediate men at Outlaws this weekend. I can't even begin to tell you how grueling this tournament was even for the younger bodies out there. But she stepped up, endured the sun burn, scratches and near heat stroke. My hat goes off to you.

She even endured some [*****] telling her girls shouldn't play disc golf. Well, there are no men and women disc golfers, just disc golfers, period.

P.S. There should have been more LODGA reps at this fine tournament :confused: :( :p

Randall was sooooo happy yesterday, he has been trying to par 15 forever, well yesterday he drove one about 40 to 50 feet pass the cement, then on his second shop he snapped one aboout 6 iches ( James those are real inches by the way)above the ground which skiped about 5 feet from the basket, and then he nailed the easy putt. he was so happy. I told him I would Post the story today. So there it is , Randall's on his way!!!. You should have seen his little face I was pround and happy for him. :)

It's WEIRD and it was sweeeet. The tourney was just a singles mini. It was a 12 hole temp course. We played it twice from 2 different tees. It was real short all Rocs and Pro-Challengers for me. (and a few Gators) I got a sweet 175g Champion Starfire w/ a Keep Austin Weird stamp. Jake's brother got us V.I.P. passes so it was free drinks and food all day. A word to wise don't paly 3 rounds of golf then try to run a 5K, big mistake. By the 5th K, I felt death approaching. Moody does have a nice selection of disc to choose from and the concert was awesome. Yeah I mentioned to Jake that you and Randall would have had a blast. We met and talked to Moody and Jake told him all about LOLO and the Ace Race. He seemed interested........... :D

What's even funnier (for me) is that last year, walking away from the wagenschenke, I looked a lot like this guy.

The sole purpose of the wagenschenke is to have a 'bar/dance club' at Albanifest. Albanifest is a big late spring party in Winterthur, Switzerland, that attracts about 100,000 people into an area the size of a postage stamp and then fills those people with as much beer as they can drink! I've been to 3 and I think the earliest I've come home is 4 in the morning. The latest I've come home is 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon! :cool:

Ladies night was great last night. We skipped the focus time and went straight to play the holes. Lory Olson, Jenny Cashdollar, Jaimee Curtis and Crista Bailey all played well. I also showed the girls holes 11A and 11B. They loved them :D. Jaimee won the CTP and round and recieved a putter donated by Brian Schmidt. I also handed out the suprise that Chris Himing donated, the new Disc Golf magazines. Thanks Chris. Thanks ladies for coming out.

A little rain at the end of the first round and then clear skies for the second and bright sun and heat for the third and final nine. It was fun watching the pros final nine.
