Description

Mostly open course near the river with a few tight shots. Views of the river and historic downtown Mount Vernon. Be aware - park events may make some holes unplayable. Parking is allowed anywhere on the North side, so on nice days or fishing season some holes will have cars parked on fairways - adjust play accordingly. The course becomes more secluded on the South side. Turf tees marked with pavers but signs are lacking. Bring the map for navigation. Late April's Tulip Festival will hinder play. Contact Quientin or the Skagit Valley DGC Facebook if curious about conditions/events. * May 2019 - #13 and 14 still have underbrush. #10 and 15 have greens that are still raw. #9 parallels a protected area, so the underbrush there will always be thick. #16 plays through a protected area with underbrush. #6 and 7 are open but underbrush to the far left is thick.
