HENDERSON, Nev. – Calvin Heimburg and Josh Anthon stood underneath the one bit of neon here that is reminiscent of the nearby Las Vegas Strip, as Wildhorse Golf Club’s brightly hued logo hovered over the entrance of this week’s venue. The duo were about to make their exit after sharing a day that started together on the chase card and ended – still together – at the top of the Las Vegas Challenge leaderboard.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Vt. – The heat index pushed toward triple digits here Wednesday during the first round of the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships, as Mother Nature welcomed competitors to the Green Mountain State with unseasonably warm conditions.

EMPORIA, Kan. – Disc golf is a game that can give as quickly as it can take. Never was that more apparent than during a raucous second round of the Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open Friday afternoon at the Emporia Country Club, where each of the event’s leaders experienced their own tumult.
