So what's going on with Texas Teams< do we have them layed out yet? Do we have enough for 2 or 3 teams? I've had a few ask if there are still spots left. I've told them only if you play down a division-bagger. :D

I want to take the history of each player's play at Wimberly with their current rating with the P.D.G.A. and then mix it with how they are playing the ROCK lately.

We have almost a whole year to play for these tags and everybody is all giddy and smack talking about them already, I love it. Last week we were standing on our 1st tee box and announcing our #'s. It was me, ET and Rob who had tags. I had the low #. Rob says looks like ET is getting #4. I said "Im gonna play my [I'm a potty-mouth!] off for this tag." We ended up tied. Good times.

hmm I seem to remember giving out the RULES to everyone I sold a tag too. YES if all 4 players have a tag than it is a mandatory challenge. but all 4 players or both teams have to have tags. so if it was you , ET and Rob who was the 4th without a tag and in this case it would not be mandatory since said 4th was tagless.

This was last wed not sun, I was just curios of the rule.

Singles it is always on. and you will have to accept a side challenge from anyone who does not have a tag on their card. but only 1 but you can accept more than 1 side challenge but that is not mandatory. EX. Larry T has 1, Ed has 6, ET has 13 card 1 , I am on card 3 with no tags but I have # 12 than I can challenge all or anyone one of you guys and someone would have to accept due to me being only tag on my card.

The ADGA crew is going to take it a little easy on you guys this year . Allot of our A team members have things going on in their lives currently so our B-team is stepping up to fill in some spots. We're not quite as strong as the last three years, but we will definately still be competitive. It's time for someone else to try and capture the title of TX Team Champions and it looks as though we may have a few teams to give us a challenge this year. Thanks Lou, for the bad news and the recommendation.

Since we usually have 4 or 5 (or even 6) guys, we liked the 2-story rooms they had. Kitchen, 2 beds, plus a pull-out, plus floor space, and 2 baths, outdoor entrance.

There are lots of hotels in the area. I'll check out the one you mention. Thanks again.

I was wondering that too, ETee. I'm on it now....as either Adv Master or Swing. Speaking of the Rivery team...I played Rivery on Tuesday. WOW I had fun.....its in pretty good shape considering how I've seen it in the past. There's a new paved walking/jogging trail that cuts through 2 or 3 fairways now....one of those could wind up being dangerous for someone riding a bike as they could come up and get bashed by a disc coming off the teebox. I don't remember what hole that is but i think its #10 (2 holes past the one where the teebox/fairway was relocated last year).

Huge thanks to all the players from all 3 teams I could tell we all gave it our best and as captains that is all we ask. Also a big thanks to Blair for taking me to the emergency sat night. :o DOH who put that chair there :D I guess I am glad that chair was not the fire.

OK. sports fans, it's been a crazy weekend. Never had so many ties and tie-breakers in one tournament...wow.

Pro-Turn and San Marcos were the top 2 teams in Emerging -- they should be coming in any minute from their 18-hole final on the hill.

The four pool winners in Established were Circle C, Pease, Waterloo Too (by a whisker) and Bass.

Waterloo One and Live Oak B came out of the Mixmaster clean, but 3 teams were tied for the last two spots. Yes, that's right: 9-way alternating sudden death. 27 people on one hole, and a big gallery. Greatest playoff format in the sport.

<font color="red">Round Rock One, sadly, dropped out on the first hole. Live Oak A and Z Boaz survived.</font>

In the Quarterfinals, Pease and Waterloo One came in tied, as did Circle C and Live Oak B. They played out the matches that were tied after 9 holes, with Waterloo One and Live Oak B prevailing.

Z Boaz took care of the mighty Bassassins, and Waterloo Too handled Live Oak A.

In the semis, in a match reminiscent of Arlington A vs. B, the Waterloos paired up. Waterloo one shocked the world and headed to the finals against Live Oak B, who snuck by Z Boaz 5-4 (again with one match going past 9 holes).

well, overall I thought teams rocked, hangin out by the fire got pretty crazy. sucks that no RR team could make it out of the MM, sucks even more that I could have prevented it for a little longer at least. doesn't matter how many times you hear that it's alright, missing a 12 foot putt aint ever right in my book, oh well, my bad, I'll take the heat even though I'm sure we all left shots out there. sucks I gotta wait a year to get some redemption, but Ill be back next year fo sho.

Happy b-lated turkey day dragons.
A bunch of cooking stuff was left at teams that I picked up. I'll bring them Wed to be claimed.
Good times Thurs mornig at the Rock for the 1st annual T.I.C.C. And of course most PDGA rules do not apply. There were 7 of us playing a round at 9:30 on the 21 layout. It had been a couple of months since we all played it. Yours truley wins with a 66, and claims, I can't believe I'm saying it #1. Then we all head to Goblins scarf some turkey down and head out for round 2 on the winter course about 4:30. Many beers later we started losing people left and right. Me, Hellman, and Goblin were the only ones left and finsihed right at dark. Me and hellman tied at 3 down for me to defend the #1, and I was many, many beers into the day. Ware you would of been proud. I got a couple of great pics of Jeff flipping me off. Jeff taught me a lesson on holding out on challenges, which is why I re-matched him. GOOD TIMES at the Rock.
