only 2 weeks to try and improve your score or screw it up like me. Than next league will be skins. We will keep your total skins from each week and the top 4 skins winners at the end of the league will play for certain $ amount the last week and the next top 4 and so on. usually the top 12 will play each hole for a certain amount. depends on how many people play this league. normally its been top 4 play for $4 a hole, than next 4 play for $3 a hole than next 4 $ 2. but that amount will not be determined until close to the end of the league. If you want to side bet during skins leaue you will need to keep your skins total and score. side bet will be score not skins. if you have any questions I will be glad to answer them.

i have a question

if it is a side bet, why do you have to be involved? why would you want a side bet of total score while playing skins? that does not make sense. I would rateher have a siide bet that is also skins, that only makes sense. it does not have to be for the whole lot of people playing, just the people on your card, right? so then we owuld have the club skins and the side bet skins on your card...why would that not work?

sorry dude, it just dont make sense- you are assuming players will purposly take a dive to help their budy win- i just dont see that happening. plus, when you are playing skins, its all about the current hole you are on- nothing else matters. If smitty has a drop in for a 2, and I am 60 feet out with water behind the bakset, i'm running for it, cause if i miss, smitty wins, if i make it, we push. That is not how you would handle it if it were best overall score- i would lay up, cause i know i can get that stroke back on the next hole. You cant have 2 bets at the same time if one of them is skins and one aint.


But i guess i am in the minority here, if you guys have been thru this already, and just cant figure out how to explain it (or get me to comprehend it :p) so i guess i will just play the skins and forget about the side bet.

As much as I would love to play the Rock tomorrow, I'm taking the day off and going out to Twin Parks with an ol buddy of mine for a day of golf, both courses. We're going to get there about 11:30am.

I had a wierd thought the other day. For a really long "single round" at the Rock you could start at hole 1, and when you get to hole 14, start playing the winter course....when done with winter course continue on with regular course again, 14 through 18. Talk about alot of golf!

If you take your dog to any austin disc golf course, watch them when they are off a leash. I've been informed that Austin animal control is beginning to patrol disc golf courses specifically targeting disc golfers. 1.Our information board should be at hole one.... to renumber we would have to move it.
2.renumber would mean opening all the tee signs to change the numbers.
3.gatherings after the round, SHOULD BE FAR AWAY FROM PLAYSCAPES AND JOGGERS. The winter is one thing...but in summer there are lots of kids/people in the parking lot of the new pavilion.
4. pratice basket would have to be moved.
For sure we need to re number the baskets and I will get with city to get the number for us.
I also need to follow up on the purposed extra three holes.
