I'll let you know for sure about Thanksgiving. There is an outside shot I'll be there the first week of November as well. Maybe on a Wednesday. It's strange, I've live in KC for almost 12 months and probably have played about 12 rounds. Weird how life changes. None of my childhood friends play disc golf. It's funny cause they think it's such a joke. We spend all of our time hunting, fishing, boating (look up partycove on google! who wants to play golf when you've got something that makes Devils Cove look tame!) and going to sporting events. I can't wait for Texas V Missouri in Columbia. Perhaps the strangest thing to me is that it's fairly cool here in the mornings and evenings. its not about missing one tournament!! i will probably play 10 total tournies for the year , 3 of which are in oct. Shule school is a small tourney, yes , which is run by my hometown club!! They are an emerging club that needs all the support they can get and i get to visit my family when there!! after waterloo I am done for the year, due to family obligations (new baby)!!! :D

49 - 56 are done. 49 - 72 will be green with white letters like the old heart of texas "money tags" that i did years ago.

Its an all weekend thing.

the rock was hot today and so was jimmy -9, it was nice to set back and watch, and make a putt now and then. also jimmy won the ctp on 12 and i won the ctp on hole 10 now thats a good day at the rock.

Ok with Wimberly hosting the texas teams this year who wants to play.

Oooops....well i already packed them and put a shipping label on them(addressed to Ware) before i read to pull tags and sell around here. I would burn way to many calories unpacking, so i will leave that up to Ware. Gotta keep this belly jiggling!

look back on this thread and you will find a vast abundance of relative club questions!! Are you offended by people asking questions that are reletive ? Your post seemed a bit sarcastic !! I believe I represent the masses in the questions and suggestions I post on here!! I have been approached numerous times by other club members and thanked for asking relative questions and addressing other club members relative concerns. ;)

I'm sure if people have things they would like or things they want implemented the cabinet members would listen to your input. Just let em know, you know who they are. Layoff the old timers and let them enjoy what they do for the course and club they started. Your doing a good job Thumber!

On a lighter note, I stuck a knife all the way through my hand last night...in one side out the other...serated at that:mad:DOH! typing sure is difficult! :D at least it wasn't my throwing hand. :p I'm too embarassed to explain how...so don't ask.

are there club meetings ? a: yes every wed at 5.
are there board meetings ? a: - we are in constant contact. It's called a cell phone - 2005.

Perhaps someone would like to enlighten "e" of the success we have had with trying
to just maintain order during other club meetings. The only things that have been
effectively dealt with by the whole body have been "yes" or "no" questions which
can not have any possible other interpretations.
ie "should we have a hurricane yes or no?"

A question like "when should the party be ?" presented to the 50 members will likely get 50 answers even after an hour or more of discussion.

Paul is very kind and has allowed the use of Stoney Hill and for that we will always be "grateful".
We will do it according to his schedule.
We will always be on our best behavior.
We will always offer him our last beer.

Perhaps Ghandi or Mother Terresa would have been a good information officer for this group.

I know from experience being a part of the cabinet is allot of work. Many people have asked to help and the reply has been "what can you bring to the cabinet?" fair enough
What is it the cabinet brings is my question? Cabinet burnout or lack of interest should not effect the club, there are many people that want to be involved, the cabinet has resourses....you all need to coordinate these resourse and not take all of the burdon all yourselfs. And with the lack of members on the cabinet...maybe its time to let some of the new blood sit at the table.

Thumber has piped up (sarcastically) and apparently is more in the 'know' then anyone else- Why is that? Why does no one else know? I have a cell phone- no one calls me for my input- hence the NEED for better communication!!!
