The course is fun to play as a newcomer to the sport. In a National Forest Day Use area, it has a totally natural feel to it and is located on a peninsula at Badin Lake. The fairways are somewhat rough with roots, rocks and vines. Tees are marked with posts. Maps available at first tee. Without a map some holes are difficult to find. Not a regularly groomed course and very out of the way. It’s scenic surroundings make it worth the effort.
