It rained overnight, the storms passed us by and the course cooled off by about 15 degrees F. Three rounds down and 153 first-time 2025 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships competitors are now halfway through their first Junior Worlds.

In MJ18Caleb Tucker grew his lead by one throw with a -8 unofficial 1002 rated round. Gracen Lomelino took the hot round of the day at -10 (unofficial 1018), moving up to tied at second with Zeb Kaylor and Bennett Doemland. Each competitor on the lead card is averaging over 1000 rated golf for the event.

In FJ18, Ann Deputy took the hot round with a -8 at Peter Pan Park, moving up to solo third. Shelby Cowen and Tomoka Aranami each threw a -7, shrinking Virginia Polkinghorne's lead to five and earning Tomoka a spot back on the lead card.

Finn Etter, MJ15, shot the hot round again at Jones East, adding an additional two down, this time tied with Nikolai Wotan Heel of Austria, taking him back to the top of the leaderboard over Colton Lawless. Nikolai gets back on the lead card, tied for third with Holt Whitted.

In FJ15, there was a three-way tie for hot round with Alison Tweedie, Eden Fletcher, and MJ Gager. Alison and Eden each went up two spots, Alison to first, Eden to tied for second with Brooklyn O'Krafka and Hailey Huber. MJ Gager moved up to fifth with her walk-off ace at Peter Pan.

Marcelino Cisneros, MJ12, shot a twelve under at Peter Pan, an unofficial 993 rated round, his highest ever to overtake Cole Kresge for the lead. Isaac Crawford went down two spots to fourth and Jaxton Taylor went down one spot to third.

In FJ12, the leaderboard stayed almost identical once again. Eva Lutsenko shot a -5, and for the first time this tournament, Hayden Harper matched her. Genevieve Davis and Madison Stubbs shot even and maintained their spots on the lead card.

In MJ10, Hudson Kasper shot the hot round at Jones West and grew his lead by a stroke. Jai Singh went up a spot, tied with Cody Buker for third. Rylan Haag maintained second place. The boys on the lead card kept things relaxed by encouraging each other to do their best grunting with their throws (see the same tee shots from the perspective of the caddie).

Sarah Wadsworth (FJ10) grew her lead by another 12 strokes during the third round at Jones West with another bogey-free round. Sarah is the only competitor across all of the divisions to have three bogey free rounds. Hailey Fitzgerald shot a +6 with three birdies. This is the first time this tournament that any FJ10 besides Sarah got more than one birdie in a round. The birdie on hole 15 was followed by running in a circle around the gallery. Keely Bain started her round with five straight pars. She maintained third place. Taylor Samuelson reclaimed the fourth place spot on the lead card.

The three-way tie for second in MJ08 was broken up today, with James Alldritt maintaining second place to James Read who has lead the tournament since Round 1. Marky LaValley moved down to third and Rohan Kiser to fourth.

FJ08 maintained their same leaderboard once again after round 3. Nora De Jong grew her lead by another dozen throws, with Ellie Lohmeyer, Evelyn Tabor, and Harper Sieniarecki following.

It's back to 90°F+ temps again for round 4. The results after Friday's round will determine who moves on to Saturday finals. Six of the ten divisions have two or fewer strokes between first and second place. In MJ18, four competitors are within two strokes. In FJ15, the top four are within one stroke of each other. Only 40% of each division stays in for championship Saturday.
