Junior Worlds Starts off Hot

High temperatures of 95F. The sun beating down. The spirits just as high.

Kids from all over the world teed off on Tuesday at the 2025 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships, and the action was just as hot as the temperature and excitement on the courses in Emporia, Kansas.

Champions Landing in Emporia for Junior Worlds

406 players will throw down starting on Tuesday

More than 400 players across 10 divisions are representing 13 countries as they head to the courses in Emporia, Kansas for the 2025 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships.

The field is impressive. Nineteen of the participants are previous world champions. Kayla Hess will be defending her 2024 title in the FJ18 division. Sarah Wadsworth will be defending her title in the FJ10 division and her streak of wins. Eva Lutsenko defends in FJ12. Cody Buker moves up from winning MJ08 in 2024 to MJ10 this year. Keely Bain does the same.
