The heat came back for round four of the 2025 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships, and not just in temperature. Five of the ten hot rounds on Friday moved competitors into the lead or tied for the lead. Many leaderboards are very tight.
In MJ18, Bennett Doemland shot the highest round of the tournament (surpassing his previous highest rated round of the tournament, also at Jones Park), with an 11-under 1137 rated round to tie with Caleb Tucker for the lead. As MJ18 returns to Jones East for the final round, he hopes to repeat. Noah Feil and Gracen Lomelino sit tied four strokes back to complete the lead card.
In FJ18, Ann Deputy took the hot round once again, this time at Jones West, tying up with Virginia Polkinghorne for the lead. Shelby Cowen and Kayla Hess fill out the lead card.

There's an extreme heat advisory in Emporia for the final round. If the week has gone as it has so far, hot rounds will determine where the competitors finish. It all comes down to the final round.
