EMPORIA, Kansas -- Catrina Allen logged her most inconsistent round of the Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open Friday, and it barely cost her a thing.
The three-time GBO winner is on the cusp of a fourth glass blown trophy after a 1-over par 65 at the Emporia Country Club only shaved one shot off her lead. Her 4-under par 188 is still good for six over Paige Pierce, who climbed into second place after a 984-rated 2-under par 62 brought her three-day total to a 2-over par 194. Jessica Weese dropped to third place at 3-over for the event, and from there the rest of the leaderboard fell off the pace: Rebecca Cox sits in fourth place with a 10-over par 202 total, while Jennifer Allen rounds out the top five at 203.
