2025 European Disc Golf Festival — Round 2 Recap

Friday, July 18, 2025 - 16:17

Things tightened up in a big way on Friday as the 2025 European Disc Golf Festival hit the midway point.

Isaac Robinson added an exclamation point to keep his spot on top of the leaderboard and continue his knack for showing up in the biggest way at PDGA Majors.

The four-time Major champion exited the Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn, Estonia with a three-stroke lead after walking off with an ace on the 18th for a 15-under, 1101-rated round.

A card ahead, Calvin Heimburg and Gannon Buhr were dueling, finishing 15-under and 14-under to climb 12 and 11 spots, respectively. Anthony Barela, a co-leader with Robinson, went 12-under to enter the weekend in solo second place at 25-under. Heimburg is in solo third at 24 under par, four back of Robinson and one ahead of Buhr.

It's the first 1100-rated rounds of their careers for both Robinson and Heimburg.

Earlier in the day, it was a total shakeup in the FPO division.

2024 EDGF champion Missy Gannon emerged from the day on top by one stroke and will lead a entirely new lead card heading into the weekend.

That includes Kristin Lätt, who had the hot round of 6-under to jump 18 spots into a five-way tie for second place with Cadence Burge, who rose 13 spots with a 5-under day.

Eveliina Salonen, up eight spots, will round out the lead card on Moving Day. Also tied in second, just one stroke back, are Silva Saarinen and Keiti Tätte, who both climbed five spots. Kaidi Allsalu makes the third Estonian in the top 10 in solo seventh at 6-under, two strokes back.

Buckle up, 36 holes are in the books and there are 36 to go at Estonia's first PDGA Major.
