Did you see any of the UT game? UT has three legitimate tailbacks... and one of them is a 6'2", 270 lbs true freshman out of Grapevine HS that runs the 40 in 4.6. He had 65 yards on only 6 carries, all between the tackles. This guy is scary! UT had 418 yards on the ground, and only 49 of it was from Vince Young.

Just to clarify BBD's post of scores at Mckinney, I shot -10 from the shorts, made consecutive 5's on 16 and 17 from the longs and finished -6 for the day.
After a month layoff with knee and finger problems, I am hopeful that I can play MJCO.

Next week I should be off of this ridiculous schedule (back to days), so as long as I'm off in time, I'm willing to play wherever. next week.

but I gotta be honest... the fear of losing to the likes of a Smerf are not what keeps Frankie away.... its the fear of loseing to a bottom of the pack player like me that keeps the Pinkinator away...... :D

I can't speak directly for Frank, but based on a couple of conversations I've had with him recently, I feel it safe to say that he is somewhat burned out on the Carrollton courses, like several of the rest of us are. The situation isn't helped, either, by a few person's insistence on playing them repeatedly, regardless of what others think.

Not to say that there aren't other reasons, as well, but these certainly factor into it significantly.

Frank, if I misspoke here, please correct me.

We have rehashed this over and over....there are only a certain few most of us can reach, so those are the courses we play...

As for Parkers post - Thanks! It has felt good to play well lately and playing against all of you guys only helps me and you. We all have our strengths on the course and learn from each other. With all of us around the same skill level, we just need to keep pushing each other for better and better disc golf

If we all lived on the same little block maybe this would be a simpler solution, but we certainly don't.

As stated a million times...these courses are the closest for the most of us...We still hit the BON and Frank doesn't even play...We hit BearCreek and nobody shows...Fritz we get 4 people. I'll stick to playing where people are going to show up.

There isn't much to it past distance to travel and time it takes to get there. Simple. I would love to play any other course after work, but it isn't possible

If you do recall, we had some discussion of that topic heading out to the first hole and quite often during the round. Since there was only one card, none of the scores from the first round counted for anything in our division, so there were some ill-advised shots made during the round that might not have been attempted if the score was going to count.

Nice shooting at McKinney last night, justin. -16 is tough to beat, even if the ringer team did tie you :D. Ben Poole and I only managed -13 with a not-so-great performance. I did solo-birdie hole 16 again though :) and not from downtown like watts did a few weeks ago... the putt was only about 60' (pin high on the creek side). too bad that didn't happen sooner to get my confidence up. :D
