An overall solid course. There are some elite layouts here, most notably #4 that includes elevation, distance, and water. Water is in play on many holes. Your enjoyment and perception of the course will probably reflect how many discs you lost during your round. In my case, that's two lost discs.

Luther Britt DGC is a championship level course. No one plays it, because the water is relentless. I call this THE most expensive golf course. But I ain't skeert! I have moved to Lumberton, and if you are ever driving through, call me, and we will have a blast! John Stretch Beckwith on Fasebooq

Pros: This course has a penalty posibilty on every hole, either water, mandatory violation or out of bounds. Well maintained course. Nice size tees. Good readable signs. Easy course navigation and a kiosk located at hole 1 with maps and a scorecard. An Island hole which is beautiful and fun to shoot.

Cons: This course has a penalty posibilty on every hole. This is a pro and a con for me since some of the results (besides a stroke on the card) are lost discs. Water on 14 out of 18 holes. Pretty wide open course wiht limited trees so no shade in the hot months.
