Description

Lavalinks is a privately owned disc golf course in the Puna district of the Big Island of Hawaii. The terrain is a mix of long groomed areas, short hikes over beautiful black lava rock and the dense beauty and challenge of Hawaiian rain forest. Tees are currently a mix of turf, compact gravel and concrete. Outdoor seating, a large clubhouse and a bath house with shower facilities and lockers. Lavalinks offers memberships by the day, week, month or year.

Directions

From Hilo; Travel south on Hwy 11 (Volcano Rd) towards Volcano. Just past Mountain View near the mile marker 15 turn left at South Kapua Rd. Stay on Kapua as it takes a sharp right turn. The 1st left after the turn is a gravel road called Apele. Travel down Apele to Lavalinks on the right behind a beautiful rock wall.
