Nice course with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding hills. Highly suggest bringing a spotter to help find discs lost in the tall grass and in case you pass out from all the hiking. Gravel tees with laminated signs - wooden posts signifies back of tee. MachII baskets would be nice if they had bright-colored tape or basket numbers to visually find easier. Avoid the hotter months as there is very little shade and no benches. Overall, fun course - especially the bomber hole 6 - bring water and sunscreen.

Beautiful course. Very well marked. Nice views of the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains and the now mostly empty Hensley Lake. Some of the longest and steepest holes I've ever played. This course is long with lots of ups and downs. You'll need to be in decent shape. BTW--it's 18 holes, not 9.
