DeLaveaga Disc Golf Course

Course Reviews
Great course, probably the longest and most prestigious in the Bay Area (if there can be such a thing as 'prestigious' on the Disc Golf scene).
The course is extremely challenging, forcing the player to try at least try every type of shot at least once.
great course...got to play this one in the fall and it was still packed...really enjoyed the scenery as well...
Yearly trek from LA County to play and camp is going on 16+ years. Course always brings my game down to earth because of the challenge of every hole. Less scrub brush than years ago, the course always great to play with friends and locals. Most challenging is I-5 and Top of the World.
Well!!! This is the Mecca of Disc Golf.. This is where the masters play every year! If ya think your a good disc golfer.. Play this course and guess again! This course offers every style of disc golf shot.. Rollers, tomahawks, thumbers, backhand, forehand.. You name it! 28 holes of gnarliness!!! Everything at this course is awesome!! But weekends can be super crowded.. So if ya get a chance to go in the middle of the week.. You might get this place all to yourself! The first 8 holes are some of my favorite DG holes ever!!! Enjoy this masterpiece!
DeLaveaga is awesome. 27 holes. It seems like every time I go the basket is in a different spot which makes it a different experience every time. Beautiful well kept course with an array of shots from open fields to tight in the tree shots. Ending with the best hole the 'Top of the World'.
Awesome course that tests your entire game. On Top of the World is undoubtedly one of the finest finishing holes in the world! The view of the Monterey Bay on a clear day is breathtaking.
This course is very beautifully landscaped and has clear but diverse holes. Excellent!
Absolutely awesome course... I started disc golfing here and if it wasn't for learning at a course like this, I probably wouldn't have kept coming back. Now that I can actually play well enough to enjoy the game for what it is, I enjoy playing elsewhere as well, but when starting the park itself was what kept me coming back.
There's some great difficult holes here as well as some easier ones. The Kitchen and the Top of the World holes are probably my favorites. I actually hated the Kitchen shot at first, but once you get the hang of it, your first shot should get you pretty close. Of course the time my first shot landed almost exactly where the hole had always been they had moved it...
I can't wait to get back to the area and play this course again. I highly doubt I'll ever find another course that I like this much.
I havent been here in a few months but the last time i was it was amazing. So many holes and not a bad one to speak of. I like that the corse is kind of split in 2 so you can play the first half and you are back to the parking lot take a brake and rest your arm and then finish the other half. I dont know if the guy is still there. but there is a guy who sells discs out of the back of his van. Its was nice when i lost my driver and i was abel to get one with out going to far. All in all I think this place is the best
Home of the Masters Cup, De LaVeaga is the premier course of the Northern California/Monterey Bay area. Due to its dynamic layouts, this course can provide you with your personal best or it can be your worst par-ing nightmare. As you play atop the ridge line of the Santa Cruz Mountains you will experience steep canyons, beauty Eucalyptus tress, down hill throws, and a great view of the Monterey Bay from hole 27's tee box to end your round. The course is in the best shape fall-spring.
27 holes. One of my all time favorite courses. lots of beautiful trees, but not much scrub brush. last hole "top of the world" is great.

This is the best course I've every played. Yes, I'm biased, b/c it's where I learned to play disc golf, but I've played a lot of different courses, and it truly is outstanding. It's a classic. I'm proud to have shot a 4 over par once...my average is like 13 over :) Only thing I don't like is the poison oak!
