OGDEN, Utah — This was never a race, it’s been a marathon from the start.

The ups and the downs, the highs, and the lows; reaching the finish line of the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championship as the victor is about enduring them all.

Catrina Allen, through four rounds of dramatic and thrilling action, has been most proud of her finishes each step along the way.

OGDEN, Utah — In her own words, Catrina Allen’s best putt of the day was the one to end Round 3 of the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships.

That bodes well for what promises to be a thrilling and battle-filled final two days in Utah.

Allen connected on an edge-of-circle putt to cap a rollercoaster day for the FPO lead card and move into a tie with Paige Pierce with two rounds to go at the World Championships.

OGDEN, Utah — There was movement all over the leaderboard after the second round of the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships.

Except at the top.

Lisa Fajkus walked off the course at Mulligans with a big, confident smile. Catrina Allen felt like her round was even better than the scorecard indicated. Kristin Tattar picked up steam heading down the stretch and jumped right back into the spotlight.
