Twelve players are within five strokes of the lead through two rounds of the 2021 PDGA National Tour Finale – Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs.

While there’s very little separation, they’re still chasing Mason Ford.

The Texas native maintained his spot atop the leaderboard and his one-stroke lead in Nashville as action shifts to a vastly different style of play for the weekend at Mill Ridge.

Hailey King put in the call on Thursday after a rough finish to an otherwise solid round.

She delivered on Friday.

King executed two perfect throws and connected on a solid putt for an eagle on the tricky finishing hole at Cedar Hill to jump to a tie for the lead heading into the weekend at the Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs, the finale to the 2021 PDGA National Tour.

A day before, King – a two-time winner on the National Tour this year – carded an eight that left her two shots back of the first-round leaders.

One player in the MPO field hit double-digits under par at Cedar Hill on Thursday to open the Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs, the 2021 PDGA National Tour Finale in Nashville.

Even hole 18 at Cedar Hill couldn’t deny Mason Ford’s 10-under first round.

Not too far from historic Broadway in downtown Nashville, the 2021 PDGA National Tour comes to an exiting conclusion at the Music City Open beginning Thursday.

In a city full of action, there will be plenty to follow this weekend as the 2021 PDGA Elite Series comes to an end.

There's a tight race in both the MPO and FPO fields for the 2021 PDGA National Tour Point Series. As has been the case in 2021 on the NT, any player can grab their first Elite Series win, just like Hailey King, Adam Hammes and Connor O'Reilly have done so far this season.

It's going down in Nashville this week as the 2021 PDGA National Tour wraps up at the Music City Open presented by Dynamic Discs.

In the National Tour points race, which includes a $5,000 bonus for both the MPO and FPO series winners, Ricky Wysocki and Catrina Allen hold slim leads heading into the 2021 NT Finale in Tennessee.

Catrina Allen is built for Iron Hill.

The two-time and defending Delaware Disc Golf Challenge champion, known to have one of the most intensive fitness, nutritional and mental training regimens on tour, seemed to only grow stronger as the grind of three days on the steeps of the storied Revolutionary War grounds took its toll on others.
