Description

The Green Lake DiscGolfPark, designed by 2009 Disc Golf World Champion, Avery Jenkins, is the 1st DiscGolfPark established in Michigan and the 30th DiscGolfPark installed in the US.

This is pro level, championship level course playing through moderately thick Northern Michigan woods. Mostly flat with a slight elevation drop across Hole #5 aka "The Pit". A variety of shot shapes and lengths - a number of different throws are required to navigate these forested corridors. At the end of the round hole #18 awaits. The "Green Lake Monster" is a 960' (293 meter) Par 5. The short layout is pro level - a great mix of Par 3 & 4's for a par 60 measuring 7,800 ft (2,378 meters). The long layout is championship level. It will challenge even the best of players with eight par 4’s and two par 5's for an overall par 66 measuring 10,280' (3,134 meters). The 1st tee is near the large Green Lake DiscGolfPark Course Map in the NE corner of the parking lot. Inside the bottom of each basket is an arrow that points to the next tee. The highly visible Yellow DiscGolfPark baskets can be seen from a majority of the tees, even on some of the longer holes.
