USA, Canada teams announced for 2025 World Games

For the first time in 24 years, disc golf will be a medal sport at The World Games.

Set for August 7-17 in Chengdu, China, 16 countries with one male and one female player will compete at the highest level of international competition for non-Olympic sports.

As the national association for the United States, the Professional Disc Golf Association is ready to announce the competitors for Team USA and, in conjuncture with the Canadian Disc Golf Association, the competitors for Team Canada. Teams are selected by each country's national association to represent their country.

Representing Team Canada will be Thomas Gilbert and Sofia Donnecke.

For Team USA, Gannon Buhr and Missy Gannon will compete in China in August.
