Therese Cuevas and Peyton Kohut

The scene around the green of Hole 18 at Albert Oakland Park in Columbia, Missouri at the end of Round 4 of the 2025 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championship presented by Discraft summed up the story of the week so far: Competition and camaraderie.

A large group awaited the lead card of the penultimate day of competition in Missouri and with their arrival, the final day of competition was set.

And what a battle it will be.

Three players — Peyton Kohut, Haley Huber, and Therese Cuevas — hold a three-way tie with 18 holes to play and their lead is a single stoke over Kylie Kohut after an action-packed day at Albert Oakland DGC.

The three co-leaders all hit double digits in different ways. Peyton got off to a blistering start at a 10-under through 10-hole start. Huber had a five-hole birdie streak down the stretch. Cuevas erased her two bogies quickly.

A card ahead, Kylie started 9-for-9 as the Kohuts traded places on top of the leaderboard, and New Zealand's Yolanda Lolohea-Pauley turned in the hot round of the day at 12-under to jump within two strokes of the lead.

Hayden Carroll

Just a few minutes later in Jefferson City, a similar battle kicked off in MA1.

A number of players from the top few cards scrapped, but leader Hayden Carroll never blinked and will take a three-stroke lead into the final 18.

Carroll, who entered Friday at The Dam DGC with a one-stroke advantage, kept pace with the rest of the lead card with a 9-under round.

Meanwhile, the chase card was making a push.

Indiana's Benson Graber matched the hot round of the day at 12-under to jump five spots into a tie for second with RJ Chirkis. Micah Thompkins, with a 9-under day, jump to the final spot on the lead card. He's tied with 2025 USADGC champion James Collier at 33-under, four strokes out of the lead.

Both battles for PDGA World Championships will conclude at Harmony Bends in Columbia.
