Lizotte's Late Push Helps Him Advance To DGPT Quarters

Three tie course record to move on to Friday

Day one of the 2018 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship presented by Prodigy is in the books, and we have eight men advancing from the field of 16 to play in tomorrow's quarterfinals. 

The fourth and second cards from today featured two no-shows. This year the Disc Golf Pro Tour implemented a $100 "confirmation" fee to try and assure every player who said they were attending would attend (and not leave anyone out who would want to play). When the noon and 2 p.m. cards started, Devan Owens and Bobby Musick were not at their tee times. Neither of them contacted the Pro Tour ahead of time; otherwise, we would have offered those positions to other players. 

That being said, there were still eight players who advanced at the end of the day.
