Thursday, July 9, 2026 - 09:03

New leaders emerged, leads grew and shrank after Round 2 of the 2026 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships presented by UPMC.

The battles are taking shape as the first PDGA World Championship of the year hits the midway point in Pittsburgh.

Here's a quick look at the action:

  • Ethan Hadders shredded North Boundary to the tune of a 15-under round to jump to the top of the leaderboard with a two-throw lead. With a few position changes, the lead card remains the same heading into Round 3 and has begun creating separation from the field.
  • With an ace, Eva Lutsenko is pulling away in FJ18 after her 17-under romp through Deer Lakes. Her lead is now eight shots over Laina Landseadel. Canada's Sierravan Elburg joins the lead card for Round 3.
  • MJ15 has a new lead in Kaidin Bell in a tight battle with seven players within five strokes of the lead. New York's Charlie Hurd had the hot round to move 13 spots into solo second place, two shots back. Estonia's Taaniel Mehine climbed 11 spots to join the lead card.
  • Other divisions separated by two throws or fewer:
    • Brooklyn O'Krafka held on to her one-throw lead in FJ15.
    • William Buker's lead grew to two in a competitive MJ12 battle.
    • Hayden Harper is the leader in FJ12 in one of the tightest battles in the tournament.
    • In MJ10, Cody Buker claimed the outright lead by two throws.
    • There's a tie between Cypress Walton and Calvin Fink in FJ08.
