I really liked this course. There are three options to throw from and two options for basket placement, A and B. First time playing it was a bit of a challenge. There are some longer holes, but it's having the ability to throw both a forehand and backhand. I really enjoy how the course works it's way around the park and into some of the vegetation. There are some holes that the water is in play. We played on a windy day which made some water holes a bit nerve-racking. Really glad I got to play this course, pleasant change in pace compared to my home courses near Chicago.

Nice course. Pretty flat but some really cool woods shots. Plenty of water and the course was really windy the day I played. The park is also home to a butterfly sanctuary, kind of cool! If you pay admission in the county park you can get into any of the others on the same day for no additional fee as long as you have your receipt. Well maintained.

This is a course that will test the skills of even the most decorated pros. The layout is pure challenge and the wind and water play into every throw. Well maintained and is home to some of the best in the state.

Some grass between the Tpad and Basket that lets your stretch your arm. Well layed out with good visiblity of othe park users. Great flow to the course... Water hazards will get in your head.

Signature, Pro style course with the ultimate mix of hole types. Mostly longer style holes, your drives will dictate success, but your putts "seal the deal" and will ensure low scores. Bring your best putter because you will want the most accuracy possible with literal "Trade" winds probable on any hole. Practice makes perfect, as this course has a well located practice pin that doubles as Hole 17, Long position. Legend has it that Ken Climo had some influence on this course design. A must play!

Tradewinds is a 19 hole disc golf course (2 - #10’s, inside/outside) which borders a lake that often comes into play. The course has several alternate pin locations (#’s 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 12, 14, 17) and long tee pads (#’s 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14) which provide a challenge for all skill levels. It is a must play for anyone visiting the South Florida area, 1st light west of the turnpike on sample rd. Tradewinds park charges $1.50/person on weekends and holidays to enter the park. The course can be found by following the park’s main road south past the softball fields and butterfly world, through the stop sign to the south end of the park, continue on the road as it turns west and pass several pavillions on your right to a parking lot which is in front of a large tree and several picnic tables. hole #1 is at the top of the hill between the walking path and the large tree. The course is built for distance but finesse players can find several lines that benefit placement. The signature #7 is a ~320ft par 3 to a peninsula style green, water all along the right and woods along the left make for a tight fairway and a beautiful/challenging hole. The course retains a lot of water in the summer months and bugs can get pretty bad (fire ants, mosquitos, gnats) so bring bug spray. Wind will almost always be a factor and can change direction on you so be careful and plan accordingly. There is a weekly random draw doubles league on Saturday’s at 3pm. The course is frequented by many locals but always welcomes newcomers so don’t be afraid to ask for some guidance or help getting around.
