SoMo has always been a great course for those who like them tight and wooded, but the addition of new "red" tee positions on almost every hole has now provided a new and varied assortment of trees to slam your disc into off the box. There are multiple *concrete* (yes, ALL of them, as of June 30th!) tee pads for all holes but the 17th, and most holes have multiple pin locations, giving a wide variety of interesting problems off the tee. With the addition of the "C" pin position on hole 9, SoMo now has a legit par 4 as well

The course is well-maintained, with the LVDC club members being very good about about picking up trash on the course. The signage is very good, with the paths to basically all pads clearly marked ... the only thing really lacking is distance markers from many of the tee pads, particularly the new "red" tees.

SoMo is a great park, its heavely wood, with tight fairways. SoMo has two mandos on holes 5 and hole 10. Hole 9 can be played as a par 4, also most holes have pro pads, Picnic tables and log benches to relax. SoMo requires finess and not a big arm, well on a couple holes require one but you better place it, or it could be trouble. this coures has people playing all the time pads are always clear even in the winter. holes also have nxt tee pad signs which helps.

Nice diversity of wooded landscapes to throw through. Most holes are par 3 with a few varieties of basket positions. They have a toilet operational from spring to fall. Nice benches to chill at most tee areas.
