Played this course today, but I think the full name of the course is actually 7 Oaks, 4 Hickorys, 2 Maples and 137 Evergreens because I think I hit them all. I had heard lots of people talk about this course and although I knew the area it was in I was not prepared for how technical the course was going to be within most of the holes through the woods. I was really expecting more open holes.

That's not to say I didn't enjoy the course. I very much did. Great course. Lots of fun and obviously challenging if you can't throw straight off the tee with regularity.

Fairways were generally not too tall with grass. We were still there early so shoes and socks got a bit wet with the early morning dew.

My only real complaint is sometimes getting from hole-to-hole got confusing in some areas. But for 1st time there. Great experience.

Seven Oaks is an outstanding disc golf course. It has a great mix of open and wooded holes. The wooded holes force you to hit your lines on this course for sure. Some holes are long bomber holes while others are shorter ace runs. Lots of different uphill/downhill and left/right holes in the mix. Course doesn't seem to favor rightys or leftys, just a great mix throughout. Great course to road trip to and if you are near the area, this one is a must play. Fun, challenging course. Does get crowded so pick your time to play it well.

Fun, challenging course, with clear markers and well-maintained holes. There is a ton of variety, the landscape is awesome, and the basket locations are alternated on a regular basis. There are a couple of areas where you can get turned around, but the locals are very chill and will get you pointed in the right direction. Recently, this course has become a very popular hipster spot--so pick your tee times carefully.

This is the perfect daily players course. Very well manicured and clean thanks to Dave Griffen. Great mix of shots/distances make a fun experience. It does get crowded just before weekend competitions at 10am,the Tuesday Doubles at 5:30 and generally at rush hour during the week, so if you do come during those times you might join up with the group in front of you and have a really great time! It's alot of fun to meet new people and see a course through a locals eyes. There is generally a few "masters division" sitting at hole 11, so don't be too surprised. Nashville is a mecca for disc golf, and this is where those who play alot actually play. Enjoy! FYI there are 3 "bonus" holes between 6 and 7, 6I tee is past 6 basket to the left a little, 6II is to the left of 6I basket and 6III is next to the fairway of 6II. The basket of 6III is right by hole 7, so enjoy ALL of the course and test your metal!

Its a decent course with a wide variety of terrain. The only thing that ruined my experience is the group in front of me were dicks and there was quite a bit of graffiti on the signs when I was there a couple of months ago.

Well-maintained course with lots of variety; challenging but not insanely difficult. Gets crowded at prime times. Changing pin placements help mix it up for regulars but can confuse occasional visitors. Signage is weathered and could use freshening.

I have played many courses around the country and every course around Nashville; seven oaks is one of my favorites. Seven oaks offers varied terrain, tight wooded fairways, and many opportunities for birdies and aces(depending on basket position). Challenging, not super long, but long enough. The basket positions change often, and the course is maintained and kept beautiful by local players/volunteers. Lots of people come out, especially on sunny spring days, but its worth it. Great course. Thanks for all you do Dave Griffin!

This is a well taken care of course. It has great layout with the option to start on the back side, at hole 11, just at the other end of the parking lot from hole 1. This gives one the opportunity to avoid waiting around for multiple groups to go off, as there is a constant flow of people coming out to play.

With 18 holes easy to follow around, and an additional three "intercourse" holes to choose from, this course gives one the ability to enjoy the challenge of wooded holes as well as fairly open holes, and offers a great time for the beginner or pro.

There are plenty of trash cans throughout the course, basket placements are rotated on a fairly regular basis, and there are single's and double's tournaments held weekly.

This course is usually very crowded. not unusual to have a random person just appear in the fairway while you are trying to throw. bad news, that person is not a disc golfer but someone taking a stroll through the course thinking its a really weird walking trail with tee signs and some weird chain thingies.

this course is constantly taken care of and maintained, but some of the shots dont really have fairways, and the locals just accept the spray and pray mentality.
