Description

In a 10 acre grove of 3rd generation doug fir, hemlock and spruce. The area is thick with huckleberry bushes, salal shrubs and marsh grass. Can get soggy on some holes in winter. The Del Norte Fairgrounds (they provided the land) mows seasonally. The fairways were built by expanding existing horse trails. No onsite restrooms. *Nov 2018 - Improvements are planned but this is a work in progress.

Directions

Right from 101 North to the Fairgrounds stadium entrance (across from Starbucks). Turn left as road turns, pass through gate to Fairgrounds overflow parking. Park near chain link fence opening at end of lots F or G. 1st tee is on other side of fence. In the event this entrance is locked there is a back entrance behind Blue Star Gas Office building. Take 101 North, turn right between Calfire office and Blue Star Gas. Enter through gate on right. Go to lots F or G, park at end.
