Dear PDGA Member,
Congratulations! You have been invited to register for the 2025 PDGA Masters World Championships in Minneapolis, MN during the week of June 28 to July 5, 2025, based on your excellent performance during the 2025 PDGA tour year. The PDGA and the local Masters Worlds Team are looking forward to seeing you in the Twin Cities this summer.
Host
Jason Wilder (Twin Town Events LLC) and the Minnesota Frisbee Association (MFA) are honored to host the 2025 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships. Minnesota has a rich disc sports history which boasts the longest running disc sports club in the world, the Minnesota Frisbee Association (born in 1975) and is celebrating its 50thbirthday this summer. The Twin Cities was recently featured in the top 5 of the UDisc Health Index and listed as the #1 county (Hennepin) and city (Minneapolis) in the entire world for course availability. The Twin Cities was home to the 2001 PDGA World Championships, 2014 PDGA Amateur World Championships and now the 2025 Masters World Championships.

Blue Ribbon Pines DGC:

Nestled in East Bethel, MN, Blue Ribbon Pines is a world-renowned disc golf destination that has become a bucket-list course for players of all skill levels. Frequently designated as one of the top courses in the world, BRP is designed with championship-level competition in mind. This course offers meticulously maintained holes that weave through towering pines and lush fairways. Known for its many iconic holes, BRP blends technical precision with scenic beauty. The course regularly hosts premier events, including the Minnesota Majestic, and continues to evolve with upgrades to enhance the playing experience. Located just 30 minutes north of Minneapolis, Blue Ribbon Pines will not only showcase the pinnacle of disc golf competition but also highlight why this course is a cornerstone of the sport in Minnesota.
Kaposia Park DGC:

Kaposia Park in South Saint Paul, MN, with its rich history and challenging design, has long been a staple of Minnesota disc golf, offering a demanding yet rewarding experience for players of all skill levels. The course’s holes wind through rolling hills, dense woods, and open meadows, creating a diverse layout that requires precision, power, and strategy. Known for its picturesque scenery and technical challenges, the course will push even the most experienced players to bring their best game. Kaposia Park will proudly showcase why it is a beloved course in Minnesota’s disc golf community.
Bryant Lake Park DGC:

Bryant Lake Park in Eden Prairie, MN, renowned for its immaculate fairways, scenic lake views, and thoughtful design, this gem offers a world-class disc golf experience. The course combines open drives, wooded technical shots, and elevation changes, challenging players to navigate its signature features, including the iconic downhill tee shot on Hole 17. Beyond the course, the park offers a range of activities, including hiking trails, a swimming beach, and picnic areas, making it a hub for recreation and relaxation. Bryant Lake Park combines championship disc golf with the natural beauty of Minnesota, promising a memorable experience for players and spectators alike.
Oakwood Park DGC:

Oakwood Park in Cottage Grove, MN, will showcase its reputation as one of Minnesota’s more challenging courses. Oakwood is celebrated for its rugged terrain, elevation changes, and variety of open and wooded holes that test every aspect of a player’s game. With many different ways to achieve success, the course’s layout rewards precision, power, and strategic shot-making, making it a favorite among local and visiting players alike. With its challenging variety and dynamic terrain, Oakwood Park will provide a true test of skill and strategy, adding to the excitement of this landmark event.
Bethel University DGC:

Bethel University offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for competitors. This course is known for its blend of open fairways and wooded corridors that require a thoughtful and calculated approach. Set against the scenic backdrop of Bethel University’s campus, the course features a variety of shot shapes and distances, testing both technical precision and mental focus. Bethel University delivers a true test of strategy and execution, making it a favorite course for those looking to level up their game.
Kenwood Trails DGC:

- Year Established – 2011
Kenwood Trails in Lakeville, MN, is known for being a favorite among players seeking a true wooded challenge. The course features mostly wooded holes, with strategically placed baskets and some elevation changes. Its design creates opportunities for both power throws and technical approaches, ensuring a well-rounded challenge for players of all levels.
Savanna Dunes DGC @ Bunker Hills:

- Year Established – 2009
Savanna Dunes in Andover, MN, is a rising star in the Minnesota disc golf scene. Previously a 9-hole course, Savanna Dunes underwent a significant transformation in 2024, expanding to 18 holes and providing players with a fresh challenge. An enjoyable challenge and pleasant ‘walk in the woods’.
North Valley DGC:

- Year Established – 1989
North Valley Park in Inver Grove Heights, MN, is a historic and versatile course that will be a prominent venue. As one of the oldest courses in Minnesota, it brings a wealth of tradition and character, with a layout that has evolved over the years. The course features a mix of tight, technical wooded fairways and open, risk-reward holes that keep players on their toes. Elevation changes throughout the course require strategic disc selection, with many holes playing uphill or downhill. North Valley offers a variety of layouts, making it a course that players of all skill levels will enjoy.
Check-in and Player Meeting
Player check-in will be available on Monday, June 30th from 9AM-5PM at Bauhaus Brewlabs. Note that every player MUST check-in in person to receive a player pack. Under no circumstance will someone be allowed to pick up a player pack for someone else.
The Player Meeting/Opening Ceremony will take place on Monday June 30th at 7pm at Bauhaus Brewlabs (1315 Tyler St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413).
Travel
Those flying to Masters Worlds will find their best option is to arrive at the Minneapolis Airport (MSP). Terminal 1 hosts most large airlines (Delta, American, United, Air Canada, KLM, Air Lingus, Air France, Alaska Airlines, Lufthansa, Spirit, West Jet and Denver Air). Terminal 2 hosts smaller regional airlines (Allegiant, Condor, Frontier, Icelandair, Jet Blue, Southwest and Sun Country).
Divisional Doubles
Divisional Doubles at Masters Worlds will be held with two rounds on Saturday June 28th at Blue Ribbon Pines DGC. See Disc Golf Scene for more details on schedule. The format is modified best shot the first round and modified alternate shot the second round. The field is limited to 36 teams.
Field Events
Field events will take place at Blue Ribbon Pines DGC.
Times for the field events will be from 9am to 3pm on Sunday, June 29th. Competitors must check in at the starter tent for any event no later than 2pm. Plan for at least a half-hour for each discipline.
Long Drive and Putting: Think your drive is long? Is your putting accurate? Put your throws where your mouth is and step up to the line to give it your best. The rules are simple, have the longest drive or make the most putts.
Other Events
Non Sanctioned Flex Start “Lids Only” event at Hansen Park DGC, one of the world's few remaining Saucer Cone Courses. More info on this FUN event will be posted later.
Registration
The event capacity for Professionals is 480 players. Capacity for Amateurs is 672 players. Registering as soon as possible when your registration tier opens is critical if you wish to play. Be sure to plan accordingly depending on the time zone you live in.
Be sure to check the invite list and registration schedule to determine when you can register.
It is also important to note that you must be a current 2025 PDGA Member and Certified Official with an expiration date after July 5, 2025, before you can register for the event!

The Masters World’s Fly Mart will take place on Monday June 30th at Bauhaus Brewlabs and Saturday, July 5th at Blue Ribbon Pines DGC. Saturday July 5th will be a special evening and the last opportunity to collect your Masters Worlds merchandise.
