To the Finish

It came down to the wire — and then some — at the 2026 United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship on Sunday in Milford, Michigan.
Bryce Brinson and Gavin Bednard both surged in Sunday's finale at the Toboggan track at Kensington Metropark, erasing deficits and heading into a playoff to determine who would claim a PDGA Major title.

In the end, it was Augusta, Georgia's Brinson taking home the championship and adding his name to a stellar list of USADGC champions.
Brinson entered Championship Sunday four shots off of the leader, Noah Feil, and jumped to the top of the leaderboard on the back nine with five birdies in a six-hole stretch.
One card ahead, Bednard, who entered the day six shots behind Feild, was blistering the course, hitting a 9-under score through 12 holes. He followed with his first two bogies of the day, bounced back with back-to-back birdies before dropping a shot on the 18th to sit and wait with his 8-under hot round.
Brinson found OB on his second shot on 18 and bogied as well, forcing a playoff on the daunting 1 and 18 loop. Both players scored par on the first loop before an OB tee shot from Bednard on one set up Brinson for the PDGA Major title.
