What a Finish!

Late Saturday afternoon in the Twin Cities, a wild week of action at the 2025 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships presented by ZÜCA was coming to a fitting end.
There were three playoffs happening at the same time to determine PDGA World Champions.
From the chase card, Paul Oman carded an ace on Hole 10, sparking a blistering finish at Blue Ribbon Pines to tap out on 18 with a guaranteed playoff or outright win. Hearing the roars from the card ahead, Dutch Napier birdied the final three holes, including the nerving 18th island hole, to send MP40 into extra holes.
Both parked Hole 1 and, back on 18, Napier missed the island after Oman, as he had all afternoon in Minnesota, came up clutch in the biggest spot.
Earlier in the day at BRP, Ohn Scoggins sealed her fifth-straight PDGA Masters Worlds Championship, pulling away from Jennifer Allen down the stretch after the two battled all week, exchanging the lead nearly every day.
In the MA40 division, where the leader's margin was never more than one stroke all week, Ben Banbury birdied the 18th to force a playoff with Travis Moser, who jumped from the chase card and was the clubhouse leader. Banbury took down the win on the third playoff hole.
Tim Harikkala started the day two strokes back out of the lead in an MA50 division that featured a five-way tie for the lead after Round 3. Harikkala took down the win over Ronnie Denig on the first playoff hole.
After a week of intense action, where leaders either clung to their spot atop the leadboard or changed daily, Championship Saturday delivered tight finishes throughout the 26 divisions that competed on eight courses throughout the Twin Cities of Minnesota.

On top of the three playoffs, eight divisions finished with champions separated from the second place finishers by three strokes or fewer.
