One player that has shined in PDGA Majors entered the chat on Friday.

The reigning PDGA World Champion and three-time Major winner, Isaac Robinson, surged to a tie for first with a 9-under round to jump seven spots into a tie for the lead heading into moving day. He's tied with Paul McBeth, who stumbled down the stretch with a pair of two-OB double bogies and a 2-under round, a day after he opened the tournament with a 14-under romp through Swenson Park.

The hot rounds from Friday will join Saturday's lead card: Anthony Barela and Ricky Wysocki, who climbed 18 and 23 spots, respectively, up the leaderboard. Barela is one stroke back and Wysocki is two back at 14-under through 36 holes. Six more players are within five strokes of the lead.

In FPO, Silva Saarinen didn't blink.

Saarinen kept her steady play from Day 1 rolling and grew her lead to three strokes entering the weekend with an 8.52 mark in strokes gained tee-to-green on Friday — a stat she leads by over two strokes through the weekend. Another category that the Finn is leading: Bogey percentage with just one.

Three hot rounds of the day, 9-under efforts from Paige Pierce, Kristin Lätt and Missy Gannon, weren't enough to fully close the gap. The three sit in a tie for second at 14-under, three strokes back of Saarinen.
