There are eight new leaders heading after round two of the 2023 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championships presented by Innova.

No one told them that Saturday was moving day at the PDGA Major.

New Leaders

Dutch Napier leads a brand-new MP40 lead card heading into Saturday's third round after finishing with the second-hottest rounds of the day at Dexter Park. The defending FP40 champion, Ohn Scoggins, blistered the woods of Dexter to build a seven-stroke lead with two rounds to go.

In MP60, Peter Sontag dropped a 1010-rated round at Circle Bar Golf Club to jump to a three-stroke lead. Pete May claimed the top spot, but a slim one-stroke lead in MP80.

With a three-way tie at the top entering the day at Circle Bar, J.B. Bauersfield pulled away for a three-stroke lead in the 59-player MA40 field. In other moves in the MA40 field, fellow Californian David Hurley had a 1036-rated round to jump to second place.

In MA55, James Huestis and John Fitzgerald erased a two-stroke deficit after the opening round and are co-leaders with a two-stroke margin. Idaho's Charlie Quinn shot 66 points above his rating and leads MA65 by one stroke. Robert Burton used a hot round of 96 points above his rating for a four-stroke lead in MA75.

Napier, Scoggins on the Move

Dutch Napier stayed clean and had the second-hottest round of the day at Dexter State Park to grab a two-stroke on an MP40 leaderboard that was full of big moves.

Napier, who finished sixth at the 2022 Selinske, fired off an 11-under round, highlighted by a birdie on 14, the hardest hole of the day at 0.39 over par in the 50-player field. His lead is two strokes with four players tied right behind him.

The hottest round of the day belonged to Switzerland's Tony Ferro with a scorching 1061-rated 12-under par, his highest-rated round in the United States. Ferro started strong on Friday at Dexter, with a 5-under through six start, the only player in the field to do so, and was one of two players to birdie 16 through 18.

Ohio's Matthew Blakely joined the double-digit club to pull into the tie for second. Blakely had a field-best 13 birdies and bounced back from three bogies for a 10-under round. He joined Ferro with a turkey finish.

Cale Leiviska rounds out the lead card with an 8-under round and round-one leader Allen Hermosillo leads the chase card.

In FP40, Ohn Scoggins fired off the fifth-hottest rated round of her career in an 8-under romp through Dexter. Her 1020-rated round was the best in the field by four strokes and her lead is seven. The 1020 rated round bests Scoggins' 1016 round at 2022 Masters Worlds for her highest-rated round at a PDGA Major.

Jennifer Allen is in second at 6-under par, one stroke ahead of Sarah Hokom. Holly Finley had the second-hottest round of the day at 4-under to round out the lead card.
