The starting stroke advantages are gone and the race to a $35,000 check is on.

Competitors received a starting stroke advantage based on their position in the 2024 DGPT World Standings. For example, Gannon Buhr and Missy Gannon, the 2024 season point winners, both started with a 10-under score before the first disc was thrown.
But Matt Keats Memorial at Nevin Park is a great equalizer.
After a slow start from Buhr, Wysocki birdied the final three holes to match the hot round of the day at 7-under with a stellar day on the green. Wysocki went 10-of-11 from C1X and added four C2 putts. Wysocki led in average putt make 21.6 feet, total distance of putts at 389 feet and gained 2.36 strokes putting.
Buhr rallied late with birdies on six of the final seven holes (around a bogey) for a 4-under day and 14-under total, two behind Wysocki.
Isaac Robinson jumped two spots into solo third and James Proctor, with a 7-under round of his own, rounds out the lead card at 11-under, tied with Niklas Anttila.
Tattar took off out of the gate, hitting 7-under before her first blemishes came back-to-back on Holes 16 and 17. She bounced back with a birdie on 18 for a 6-under day and a two-stroke lead.
It wasn't a stellar day driving for Tattar but a 10-for-10 day in C1X and keeping a relatively clean scorecard helped to grab the opening-round lead at 14-under.
Eveliina Salonen hit 18-of-22 fairways and went 12-of-15 from C1X to match Tattar's 6-under and jump to a tie for second with Holyn Handley.
Ohn Scoggins rounds out the lead card with a 11-under total, three back of Tattar and tied with Gannon.
Silva Saarinen had the hot round of the day, a 1019-rated 7-under and is tied for sixth with Henna Blomroos.
