In the afternoon, Gannon Buhr tied the largest comeback in DGPT history to put the bow on a storybook season.
Entering the day one stroke back in a three-player race, Gannon took the lead over Kristin Tattar and Ohn Scoggins on the back nine and finished clean for a course-record 9-under finale to claim the $35,000 first-place check. Gannon's two-stroke win defended her title from a year ago and is the third DGPT Championship title on her resume.
Tattar and Scoggins finished in a tie for second as the three were well ahead of the rest of the field.
Buhr was going to need a stellar round and a little help to deny Ricky Wysocki the three-peat at Matt Keats Memorial Disc Golf Course.
That's exactly what happened for Buhr to close out his stellar 2024 season.

Buhr erased a six-stroke deficit on the front nine as Wysocki stumbled out the gate and the battle went until the very end. Buhr clutched up with birdies on 17 and 18 for the one-stroke win — the same advantage he had over Wysocki entering the four-round DGPT finale. There were 12 stroke swings between the two in the final round of the season.
The comeback ties the largest in DGPT history.
Buhr hit double digits for the second time this week in the daunting woods of Nevin Park while Wysocki finished 3-under on the round after three-straight rounds of bogey-free play.
Ezra Robinson rounded out the podium in solo third place.
