No, it's a thread on technique. What special techniques are needed to throw an MRV, since obviously, regular techniques don't work. Please see the "how to throw a devilhawk," for instructions on throwing an MRV. Good stuff there.

Bring back the MRV or Meerve!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just dug some stuff out out storage I haven't seen in years and sure enough there were a few X and Z MRVs. The bummer is that it is hard to get some more and they fly some money! The MRV and Storms are needed (Storms fill an awesome mid/fairway drive) gin that they aren't as versatile as a Buzzz but they cover a few key shots better than a Buzzz.

Man now I want Old Z storms again............wait I have some of them too.

Need more MRV

Matt, how do you think the storm compares to the panther? I've used both in that long mid-range category but don't have your eye and technique. Too bad, I donated about 10 Z MRVs to Gordon a couple of years ago... :o

The Storm has a good pit more stability and shouldn't flip unless you either are trying to or it is given a not so clean release.

The Panther has a lot less HHS and is pretty much an anhyzer disc out of the box.

The Storm also flies farther than pretty much every other midrange and does so on a dead straight line which is always nice. Also if you beat an X one in they can become like a Panther and be used for hyzer released anhyzers.

Why woulod anyone want to throw a Mars Roving Vehicle anyway? They have no aerodynamics and would prolly crush a basket.

Same color and everything as the 01' and I don't know if I can say this or not but Coda agrees after throwing them side by side.

It was a piece of trash at one time but after 6 months of sitting at the bottom of a stack it was seasoned just right.

The kids recipe for the perfectly seasoned crappy disc.

6 months in the seering Texas heat in the back of the jeep with full sun all day at the bottom of an off center stack of discs with a putter underneath it that is also offset some. Throw it once if it dont fly right chunk it in the river and start over with another crappy disc. You will find that maybe it will make a bad disc good after many attempts unless the epa gets you first for choaking up the river with plastic.

gonna have to throw it to believe it.

Smokey has been carrying a rainbow dyed Z MRV for at least five years I bet that one is seasoned. I bet it causes the wrist to go limp.

This is a frist, and now way a Z Wasp comes close to an '01. If this was the case people would be throwing those and not spending $150+ for used ones.

Never said they all fly like 01's just that one I have does. I do happen to stick with discs I like so this is the only Wasp that has hung in my bag more than a few weeks but that is because it is dead nuts straight when thrown with power allowing you to shape your shot.

This one just happens to have a better shape after a few months in the 2nd string stack.

i think if growth of the sport is a goal of the pdga, we should throw 804.05(4) out the window and create a "get stupid class". or are we already doing that?
