This course is absolutely beautiful! If you are a disc golfer who views this sport as " a walk in the wilderness with a purpose" then you will love this terrain. The course is nicely
laid out, lots of variety. One of my favs is hole #5 throwing off the top of a hill overlooking one of the little lakes. Lots of wildlife - this Spring we watched baby egrets and kingfishers in their nests over hole #16. I bring plenty of nuts for the squirrels. Don't forget your floater, there are a couple holes that your throw near the water. This course delights the senses and challenges the average disc golfer. Worth the admission fee for sure!

Yucaipa Regional Park Disc Golf Course is an excellent course with something to offer every disc golfer. Pros; Beautiful park with three lakes, wooded and open holes, elevation changes, and island holes all surrounded by beautiful mountains and wildlife (spotted two different types of eagle and a bobcat there last year). Excellent layout of the course keeps distance between baskets and next tees to a minimum, allowing easy course navigation. New innova baskets and concrete tee pads on all 18 holes as of 2010. Cons; The main detraction is civilians on summer weekends. Big waterpark draw from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The only other possible con is that the length of the course is not huge, even in the long positions, but with the O.B. on holes 1,2,3,10,11 and 18, the distances are enough to keep even big arms entertained. Overall I would have rated this course 5/5 but there would be some legitimate complaints from big arm pros. I don't want to compare this course to other So. Cal. courses by name, but I have played nearly every course in So. Cal. and Yucaipa compares favorably with the very best courses out there. If you come out on a weekday, there will be no crowds at all and even on the weekends, the course is under-used. Monthly the first Sunday of the month at 12 noon.

yucaipa is nice but a little heavy on the entry fee, pile a lot of people into one car split the fee, unless your a rich disc golfer ,then pay for everyone else. however the course is inendated with asphault ob wich of course does a # on the plastic. That being said there are slight elevation changes and a good amount of trees with a few big arm shots. Accuracy will prove to be a winning factor on this course. New CC tees installed last year. Weekly Random doubles 9 AM monthlie 1st sat each month 9Am .My fav the back 9
pray for lack of wind and no ice
