Description

Mongolia's 1st disc golf course! Targets are posts. Artificial turf tees (also used for ball golf). The disc golf course uses the 9 ball golf holes to the east of the main road, within the fenced area (ball golf holes 1,2,12,13,14,15,16,17, and 18). Challenging and windy. Discs at clubhouse (donated by Innova). Pay to play. Seasonal, open late Apr. through Oct. Contact UB2 to make sure they're open. Elevation 5300'. Staff members Erdenebaatar and Gantulga can guide you.

Directions

At the UB2 Golf Resort, within Terelj National Park, 50 miles NE of Ulaanbaatar. The best way to get there is to be part of a tour, with a driver - request to stay at "UB2 Golf Resort". Hard to find on your own - very little english spoken there. Connected with Ulan Bator by a paved road (main road to the East #A0501 Baganuur-Öndörkhaan direction, 37 km from Ulan Bator city center, left turn to the branch #A24). The road comes to the Gorkhiin Davaa pass. Most tourist attractions are before this pass. The road ends in Terelj settlement.
