Description

The original course has 9 yellow numbered baskets. The first 4 holes (short) have trees. The remainder are mostly open, but longer. The 10th hole shares basket #1. Wind is often the biggest challenge, although occasionally an island bison may wander onto the fairway. Five red baskets and white and red tee markers have been added for two new courses. The three courses share tees, baskets and fairways, sometimes in opposite directions. The use is light and the play is casual so it seems to work (occasional chaos remains friendly). Directions

On Catalina. The only way here is by private boat or ferry from San Pedro, or ferry via Avalon from Long Beach, Marina Del Rey or Dana Point. 1st tee is on the west side of the old Civil War Barracks (now Isthmus Yacht Club).
